Hotel Shoolin Grand

Well in the complimentary dinner, we werw just asked verbally what we want to eat without handing over the menu. Also we ordered dessert which we forgot to have our ice cream. We remembered while we came back to our room. The fun fact is that neither the food serving staff called nor the hotel staff reminded. Also the morning breakfast was served from 7:30, we went to eat at 8:15 am yet the breakfast was not placed in the food stations. Only cold stuff and some breads, cakes were there. Didnt like it at all

Stay is comfortable here at this property. Good location. Good food. Ambience is good. Neat and clean

Except for the location the stay experience was terrible. For a price of approx 8k per night (with breakfast) all you get is a basic room with no service. An order for soup (room service) took 1 hour to be served and that too in a small bowl with a foil cover for a price of 280 plus taxes. The breakfast is never ready by 7 am which is the stipulated time as conveyed. If you ask for tea coffee to go with the breakfast you gotta give them a good 40 minutes to serve. On the day of the checkout my request for packed breakfast at 7am was not honored (even though i had already paid for the same as part of my room rate) they are simply reluctant to give it as they knew that i had already paid and i had a morning 9. 15 am flight for which i needed to leave hotel at 7 am. There’s no concept of bell desk, you need to help yourself with the luggage. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
