Neemrana's - Deo Bagh

We had a lovely experience at Deo Bagh. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. All the rooms have a balcony and face the garden area, perfect for that morning cup of tea/coffee. If you are a bird watcher, the property is a perfect choice. You will be woken up by the various bird calls in the morning. Take a Leisure walk around the garden, and witness the peacocks, squirrels etc freely roaming around. The rooms are newly constructed. However, the property is inside a heritage site wich houses a 17th century temple and cenotaphs. The staff and service is A-class. The breakfast includes a spread of both Indian and western cuisine. Though, the choices in the ala-carte menu could be increased, the food is delicious.

Awesome Ambience with Warm Hospitality...A Heritage kept alive through authenticity through Rugged landscaping with Peacocks and Ancient Chhhatris part of the Owners' Family History... The Food was delicious and served with heartfelt warmth n care.. The Rooms were Neat and Linen clean Completely Relaxing and Serene Air It was so Special shall always cherish the time spent God Bless

Usually a hotel is a place to shower and sleep, maybe to eat. Many hotels might try to market themselves as something more, but they are not. This hotel, on the other hand, really is something special. Beyond a place to sleep it is part of the experience. It is an historical Mughal sarai, tastefully updated, so you are staying in a very comfortable and well appointed room that dates back a few centuries. The gardens in front of the rooms are immaculate, while other parts of the gardens are rather wild. You will see parrots and you will see peacocks. If you are lucky, they will put on a display for you. If you are luckier, you will see Indian hornbills (we were lucky on both counts). The family that owns the property (Neemrana is just the operator) maintains some small temples in the grounds. We were (again) lucky to be invited in by the owner to join a ceremony. I don't know another hotel where that happens. By the way, the restaurant is very good, and high tea on the lawn (complimentary) is a delight. As so often in India, the area outside the front gate is quite different. Those not used to India might be put off, but it is quite normal. It is not too hard to get an Auto at the gate; alternatively, the very helpful reception staff are happy to arrange transport.
