This place will need a major upgrade just to reach the designation of "horrible." The place was a slum. Carpets were disgusting. Beds were lumpy and tilted from foot to head, dropping 4". Management said they had one other room, and the recommended we not look at it because it was worse. Construction started at 7:15am, waking guests. Not sure what continent the continental breakfast came from, but what little there was did not arrive in good shape. Front desk was apologetic, but essentially useless. Four days after checking out I got billed an additional fee. When I called, I was told my bill would be e-mailed to me. After three tries, the desk at the hotel said they had the email address right, but it is yet to arrive. Corporate customer service is a "grind them down and see if they hold on" operation. I will NEVER stay at a Clarion hotel again. NEVER. I'd rather sleep in my car.
