We were so fortunate to have chosen Fare Tokoau, on the island of Moorea, French Polynesia! We stayed in one of the four beachfront bungalows for nine nights. Our bungalow was very comfortable, with a thatched covered roof that extended over the lanai, located off the main living area, with a spectacular western exposure. We had unbelievable sunset views of the beachfront, pool, and lagoon. We lavished in Tea and Alex’s family atmosphere. Their two cats Blue, and Coconut, their dogs and the island roosters and chickens. It was out of a movie. Tea and Alex were very attentive and helped us locate grocery stores and restaurants. One cannot miss Alex’s Lagoon Tour, where we swam with Rays, Turtles and Sharks, and toured the lagoon. We enjoyed all the local knowledge of Moorea, while sipping on Alex’s special cocktail, waist deep in bathtub warm turquoise clear water….We felt like family and definitely will return to Fare Tokoau! Thank you Tea and Alex !

Tea was the most helpful host there was,nothing too much trouble,we spoke very little french so she booked restaurants for also some restaurants had a pick up and drop off which was very helpful as we did not have transport. The grounds were great and you could pick your banana's from the trees, the bungalow had a private beach view and cooking facilities which helped with our budget. There was a private pool overlooking the see also kayaks for free use and lots of tours with puck up at the site. Once again the host were very good.

Stayed in December 2021. The location is just south of the shops, restaurants, and stores you will likely visit while visiting. It is far enough away to still provide peace and quiet at night. The private pool and beach are great for small families to price a safe and sheltered play area. The host family, Alex and Tea, and amazing hosts and glad to help make your stay better with local knowledge and insights. Their live on-site in a separate bungalow and their own children can be seen playing nearby. Their dogs and cats also make the stay seem like home as they are always available to snuggle and play with. If you stay here, I also recommend going on a lagoon tour with Alex. Unbelievable experience. Swim with rays and sharks in a safe environment. Highly recommend.

Tout simplement parfait. Un petit paradis et la meilleure excursion sur le lagon avec Alex. Une adresse exceptionnelle : emplacement, hébergement, accueil, place privée, piscine, lounge, kayaks, cocotiers, difficile d'en demander plus !
