KK Beach

We had a wonderful 4 nights here at the end of our tour of Sri Lanka. The hotel is located right on the edge of a beautiful beach and any concerns about it being on a busy road soon disappeared with the sounds of the ocean. We stayed in an ocean suite and appreciated its spaciousness though we found the balcony on the small side. Most of the time was spent relaxing in the beautiful grounds anyway, ably looked after by the lovely Kasun. All the staff were super friendly & attentive. The only slight irritation for me was that one couple were allowed to reserve the (best) same table in the restaurant every night which seemed a little unfair. Food was excellent. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax & unwind away from the much busier Galle but within easy striking distance, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Recently spent 4 days at KK Beach on a return trip to Sri Lanka (having stayed at its sister hotel Kahandakanda in March) . The property is slap bang on a beautiful beach straight out of a tropical magazine image . The rooms are beautifully furnished in blue and white with exceptionally comfortable beds . Lots of nice touches - blue striped kimonos and flip flops to wear down to the pool (which was cleaned daily) and mini bottles of mosquito repellent . The staff are all exceptional - very friendly and eager to please. Special mention to Mudali, Patham, Kasun, Sahan, Thisaru, Supun and of course Chef whose meals were a highlight of our stay. Apologies if I’ve missed any of the boys as you were all so nice to us.

Beautiful hotel, pool and location, the views looking out to sea is perfect. The pool is huge, surrounded by beautiful plants, and was always so peaceful (and Kasan is very attentive and friendly, ensuring you're never out of drinks or fresh towels). It's about 30 mins from Galleria, but easy to get to. If the food had been a little more flavoursome, it would be a 5 star, however we thought it sometimes lacked a bit of flavour.

We stayed two nights at KK Beach and it was excellent. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. It is a small boutique hotel with just 10 guest rooms. The staff and service were very good and the meals and food delicious. It’s is a great location on the beach.

What an absolutely lovely hotel. Its location is lovely and quiet as it’s a little outside any of the main beach resort towns. The hotel is right on the beach front so from the immaculately layed out pool area you can sea and hear the sea. The pool area is so nice with very comfortable and plentiful sunbeds and bean bags and the pool area attendant works tirelessly in making sure you are in a nice location and you are drinking plenty of cold water. The beach is stunning with beautiful sand and a huge expanse of beach to walk up and down. The sea current can be very strong so do ask the pool attendant where it’s best to swim. The rooms are really nice and well presented all with beachfront views with very comfortable beds. All the staff are so attentive and helpful they couldn’t do enough for you. The food at the hotel is simply superb. The breakfasts are excellent. The Sri Lankan omelette, egg hoppers and labneh, avo and egg all superb. There’s also a wide variety of lunch and dinner menu options from both Sri Lankan and western pallets. The tuna main and the tamarind prawns were both knockout. There’s lots of places to sit and chill out at the hotel post dinner. A wonderful hotel and I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you KK Beach for a wonderful stay🙏🏻.

One of the best stays, we were checked out after 2 days disappointed of some other place. (Moi Koggala) then we were passing this place just checked wether rooms available, from that moment till check out PATHUM has done an exceptional job, he has very good friendly team over there, rooms are cozy with the beach view and interior designs, food was amazing, we stayed only 1 night as the long weekend is over, we are coming back again for sure, thank you everyone for wonderful hospitality and friendly service, specially needs to remind the life guard who’s working at the poool area, he’s very friendly funny guy. Once again KK you’re the best ❤️
