We have spent 38 nights in hotels in the last 20 months, and Comfort Suites Hagerstown was the worst. Somehow, we ended up in a room that was in an alcove with the ice machine and an empty snack machine, right next to the elevator. At check-in, they said I picked "Business King. I have been back on their website through every possible browser and can't find business king. If it weren't for the front desk associate Christine, I would have walked out. She was so kind and helpful. There were no other rooms to move to as there was a softball tournament that weekend. The room is at least 6 feet shorter than a regular room due to being in that alcove. The room was in very poor condition. Looked like a last resort room. The next morning, we saw the owners and housekeeping staff. Staff supervisors were speaking in another language and were being nasty to the housekeepers. We were only greater by 1 person asking if we were checking out that morning. Everyone else ignored us and all other guests. The breakfast looks NOTHING like the pictures. No protein other than tiny cartons of yogurt. We had cinnamon waffles that were good, and the coffee was good. The rest was all carbs. I would never recommend this hotel, and it is all because the owners must not think it is important to keep their hotel up to normal standards.
