Room keys did not work for two nights, I had to explain this to two different receptionists, don't they communicate via handovers? I booked a table in the Beefeater at reception for two nights but on arrival at the restaurant I was not booked in. After two nights stay I requested my room to be serviced (this is the PI policy), yet when I got back to my room at 4.00 pm it had not been done. I queried this with reception only to be told that housekeeping had gone home... I had to ask for fresh towels, no effort was made whatsoever. The dual carriageway was being resurfaced and high traffic disruption, yet this was not stated on the PI website when I booked my stay. The WiFi is shocking, I was staying for business and it's not sufficient to do laptop work without waiting for everything to eventually download. Finally, the staff just seem like they don't want to be there, no eye contact, no good morning/good evening or a smile!
