Hotel Pistache Den Haag

Fantastic room (quite big) with nice and modern interior. TV and heating and wifi were working perfectly. Bathroom was big and modern as well. Very comfy to come in (online opening via mobile). Would appreciate better bike shelter (for our own bikes without standing sticks). Very nice and calm neighbourhood (we spent Christmas days there). Terrace was unfortunately very wet and slippery (probably due to winter time), so we couldn't use it. Overall very beautiful and superb accommodation.

Small family of 3 - we stayed for two nights in Hotel Pistache in a ‘comfort suite’ which was ample size, our 9 yr old stayed on the sofa bed and we had some privacy. Great facilities (kitchenette, fridge, induction hob etc) spacious bathroom and very quiet ambience in the building and in the area. Located a five minute walk to some restaurants (great Italian nearby - La Lanterna I think, excellent Pizza served. When I pointed out the pizza oven to my boy, the pizza chef invited us in to see him make his pizza, a really nice gesture by him, he was a big Napoli fan so I congratulated him on their recent scuddetto triumph last season. (Salvatore was his name if I remember correctly). At least one supermarket nearby too, and a choice of buses and trams outside the door and across the street. Easy to find - we took the ＜10 minute bus ride from Den Haag Centraal (train station). Also very impressed with the service at the hotel. We left a Kindle reader behind in the room, only realising when we returned home. We contacted the hotel and they retrieved the kindle, packaged it up and sent it to us. Happily recommend staying here, we will stay here again upon our next visit.

While communication was very good and they were very accommodating in terms of allowing us to check in early and the washroom was nicely renovated, there were a number of issues: 1) Our daughter got lots of bedbug bites from sleeping on the sofabed. Wished we had checked the bedbug registry on-line before we stayed. Emailed them after we stayed about the bedbugs and received no response. 2) Safe was not working and not remedied after we notified them as they said they would 3)Trams go by constantly so unit was quite noisy. Given there is no AC in the unit and you need to keep the window open to have circulation, this is a challenge.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Pistache. Large suite with kitchenette. Excellent communication. Very accommodating - able to have room ready early so that we could check in. Renovated washroom. All contact is remote - e-mail/phone call away. Excellent location near the Peace Palace with convenient access to transit.

Everything was perfect: location, comfort, cleanliness and communication with the hotel. The room was very well decorated and bright. The hotel is very well located between the city center and the beach. We were very well received and we will come back.

We had a lovely stay at Pistache. The hotel is beautiful, inside and out, the (remote) staff is very helpful and easy to contact and the beds are incredibly comfortable. We booked a comfort suite with 3 friends and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of room we got. To be able to make our own small breakfast before going out in the morning was just that little extra that made our stay 5/5.
