We went for honeymoon, and it was the best decision ever! They have private onsen, library, and snacks and alcohol are also available for free!

It s a pity that public hot spring (female) is very small. Much space of the hotel is assigned to other rest zone. Campfire and common area is a plus.

A fantastic hotel. Good location, 5mins walk from Gora Station. Staff were all polite and professional. Special shoutout to a male restaurant staff (name starts with 伊) serving us during our 4 days’ stay. His service was top notched. Appreciate the free snacks/ice cream/beverages and alcohol at night! Strongly recommend!

Location is very near Gora Station, suitable for families. Dinner and breakfast spread can be improved.

It’s a perfect Onsen resort for family, couples, friends and solo. They offer free snacks and drinks in hotel lobby, room is spacious and very clean.

Close to railway/ bus stop. Excellence service and food. I shall back again

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The onsen is relaxing and you can enjoy private onsen if u got luck. After the onsen you can enjoy a drink or ice cream on the beautiful terrace along with a nice footbath. The hotel provides breakfast and dinner. It is perfectly located (3 mins walk to Gora station). I had a very relaxing time here! The Yukatas to wear during your stay are very nice as well.

Location is great, just about 5 minute walk from Gora station. Room was relatively clean and spacious. Staff were generally friendly (special mention to Kawshayla who was very gracious and professional when checking in). Hot spring was minimal, with only two hot pools and one sauna. Only one washing machine as well, which was very lucky to have been able to wash my stuff without waiting. After 7.30pm, there is no food in the area as well, apart from able Lawson about 10 minutes walk away, unless you opted for the expensive dinner (~7,000 yen) dinner which you have to reserve before 5.30pm. Free alcohol and snacks from 7.30pm to 10pm is nice as well. Good selection of books at the library. Free coffee milk after hot spring is nice well. Generally, felt there could have been more amenities, like washing machines and more onsen options. There are no room cards as well; only one key per room, so good luck if you have multiple guests to a room at once. Breakfast buffet is good, traditional Japanese with some western elements, like scrambled eggs, bacon and yoghurt. Dinner is pricey, but there's free alcohol like sake and cocktails (make your own), but still felt that the price was a little too steep. Overall, quite a nice hot spring hotel with good location to most attractions in Hakone. Do note it is quite an old hotel, so not many amenities present in other newer hotels in cities are available. But an enjoyable experience nonetheless if you are travelling with your loved ones or alone thinking of having a traditional Japanese mountain onsen hotel experience.

In Hakone, the location was great. It is just beside Gora station, which has access to the cable car line. There are also a few eateries nearby if you don't mind walking a bit, but in general food options are hard to come by in Hakone, especially after 5pm. If you decide to go to any of the eateries, I recommend going as soon as they open for dinner as there would be a queue otherwise. There is a Lawson less than 10 minutes away on foot, so not to worry. The room was spacious and clean. There were also free alcohol and sweets provided by the hotel which we enjoyed at selected timings. The onsen were good and relaxing. The breakfast was buffet style and it was alright with both western and asian options. They vary the food options a little daily.

A fantastic hotel! The main highlights being the private onsen and the free snacks after 3pm/free desserts after 7pm. The food options at breakfast and dinner don’t have a lot of western options, so if you aren’t a seafood lover it might not be for you.
