I had a meal chippy Tuesday the fish that was served was all batter very little fish nobody came to my table heard giggling The bar when after 20 Minutes manage to attract attention pointed out that the fish was all batter the waitress said she would let kitchen know ordered a coffee she never came back to be about my complaint and the. Left to pay I ask had she reported about the fish she said she had but was given no explanation very bad

We arranged my husbands 60th birthday get together in the function room, Nicky was very helpful during our initial viewing and gave us ideas . Menus were really great they covered everyone's dietary requirements and tastes. We went for menu D and it was excellent. Quality and quantity was excellent,value for money and we had a lot of positive feedback from family and friends.The room was just the right size for our party of 50. On the day which was 20th October David was on duty and was fantastic, he went above and beyond to make my husbands birthday very special. Thank you all for an excellent birthday. We had Breakfast here.It was excellent.Staff very helpful and attentive.Food delicious.Would highly recommend.Freshly cooked,very well presented.The Restaurant was very clean.Ample parking and free!We will definitely be coming back.

17 of us travelled from Scotland for a family party, nearby. We stayed in The Bulls Head, Hale Barns, where the accommodation was excellent. We had lunch in the restaurant on arrival, and looked after really well by Evie. It was no mean feat with 17 at the table, but food and service were first class. Breakfast the following morning was very good and again David ensured we had excellent service. Overall, a very pleasant experience and we would thoroughly recommend this venue.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel on a Sunday evening whilst attending a family function in the adjacent pub. We booked an overnight stay with bed and breakfast using the hotel website. the website was clear and easy to use, Arrived on time at 1300hrs having paid a premium for early room availability only to find our room was not ready, man on reception was apologetic and allowed us to place our small quantity of luggage behind reception and arranged to refund the early booking fee. Luckily we called in to the pub next door until our room was ready. Room was very clean and tidy, well decorated and had a welcoming ambience. Had a wonderful nights sleep and bed was very comfortable. Our visit was rounded off with a very tasty full English breakfast in the adjacent pub the following morning. Staff courteous and amenable, would use hotel again without reservation

Stopped in on my way back from our holiday, for a drink, had a lovely time, the guy there was so friendly think he was called David, couldn't do enough for us, it was my birthday so was as nice treat! Definitely so in again and may book a room in the near future for a mini break away. Thanks again

Room was great. Would benefit from plug sockets by the bedside table. Shower was awesome, room was clean, tea and coffee facilities great. Bed was extremely comfortable. David was stand-out amazing. I had a few random issues (got a key stuck, needed to know random facts about food at breakfast) and although he was definitely busy he made my comfort his priority. It's convenient for the Hale Shule and the Sephardi shul and the hotel is extremely accommodating of shomrei shabbos people. Once I'd explained on the Friday, David made sure to let me know that someone would be around if I had any issues over shabbos, and they have physical keys you can leave at reception (until the eruv pg). Gorgeous hotel.

Myself wife and family of five of us went for dinner, the service by David made the dining experience even more enjoyable, he was really first class and extemely knowledgeable on the complete menu, we all had different mains , and we were all happy with each and every dish we had, David completed a wonderful night out, and we will certainly be going back.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff, awful landlady, very curt and condescending in attitude when i politely asked if i could park my motorcycle in the secure fenced area due to bike theft risk. I don’t have issue with my request being denied, it’s the way she came across when doing so. Should not be in the hospitality industry. AVOID
