I made a reservation and paid for the room on Priceline. When I got to the hotel, I was told that they can not find the reservation. I got in touch with Priceline and Priceline called, emailed, and faxed the reservation info to the hotel, but the hotel refused to honor the price that I have originally paid. I was told by the hotel that if I want to stay at the hotel, I will need to cancel my reservation with Priceline, and pay the new rate for the room, which was $35 more than the price I have already paid on Priceline. Even with the help of the Priceline billing’s department calling, and faxing the hotel more than twice, trying to get the hotel to honor the reservation and the original price Wyndham made the agreement with Priceline for the room, the hotel refused to honor the reservation. I guess this is how bait and switch works at this hotel.
