Petrino Eco Village

Lovely beautiful hotel but not quite 4 star for me having had this holiday booked for over a year as upon arrival only to find out our booked accommodation wasn't going to be ready till the next day they said due to a technical reason so was provided with another room for the night. I found this inconvenient having to try to unpack then having to repack and move again as we were only staying for a well deserved weeks rest . The 2cd room was lovely but had a steep staircase so as two women trying to lug your suitcase up them quite dangerous and so again inconvenient as had to un pack downstairs and carry clothes up other than this had a lovely stay the massage lady was excellent well worth it and breakfast good selection and nice setting good customer service from most

We had a wonderful stay at Petrino suites. Rooms comfortable but need a bit more storage and the bed was a little hard for me. Staff are very friendly and work very hard. Breakfast and bar food very tasty. Prices for drinks a bit expensive compared to Afytos. Lovely, clean and relaxing hotel with lovely grounds and pool. Be aware the bottom, sides and steps of the pool are pebble dash and rough under foot. Bottom step into pool is hard to see and easy to miss it. Had two facials by Georgia during my stay, wonderful and relaxing! Taxi costs 6 euros into Afytos which is worth every penny in the heat! Great restaurants and bars in Afytos. Food everywhere is very good. Value for money and service go to Ambrosia. Notos and Fortuna bars for views. To Kyma restaurant by the beach for amazing fish dishes and the fish platter is great value for money, but make sure you use mosquito spray before you go! Will definitely return!

What impressed us most was how thoughtful everything is—from compostable amenities to local stone architecture and organic produce in the breakfast. It's a rare feeling to enjoy real comfort without compromising sustainability. You can tell the owners care deeply about nature and hospitality alike.

We absolutely loved our stay at Petrino Eco Village. The stone-built cottages feel like part of the landscape, with a warm, rustic style that’s full of character. We enjoyed slow mornings with birdsong and fresh breakfast under the trees, then lounged by the serene pool or took the shuttle to their private beach. It was the perfect place to disconnect and breathe.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in early June Hotel grounds are stunning Staff very welcoming and very clean . Sadly we had no working air con for over 4 days and the old units are a problem as many others said the same to us They did eventually move us on the fourth complaint but it ruined our first week . The pool and breakfast are was not relaxing due to the amount of young families with children shouting , screaming , crying Also picking up food then putting it back into the lovely prepared buffet was not appealing and put me off my breakfast a few mornings Not the hotels fault as they worked very hard to keep on top of it and customer service was great . We went to White sands beach with a cost of €30 which was not a great experience Not really a beach and had young children on it despite saying no children Food and drinks very overpriced and poor customer service at the hotel . Waited over 40 mins for the wrong food order The Village beach was good but quite a walk . However the bars will call a taxi so we walked down the steps and went right to the left of the beach and found good value sun loungers and a Gyros for a reasonable cost . Taxis were exceptional and a great variety of restaurants and bars in the village all very friendly . Alcohol very expensive at €7 a bottle of beer but we found a few cheaper ones . Would not recommend for couples as advertised by Jet 2 but great for young families . We had a few days of no hot water but it resolved by 2 nd week No WiFi at times but was fine in the village Overall it’s a beautiful hotel but no air con in high temperatures ruined it for us and was hard to relax . I’m sure those staying further in away from the pool and children’s playground had a different experience .
