We had a short (2 day) but sweet stay at the Lagoon Paradise Beach Resort. Food was great (highly recommend prawn curry with rice & vegetables dinner) - breakfast buffet had a nice selection of local dishes with classic egg, sausage & toast options. Rooms were clean and spacious. A small negative is no wifi in bedrooms but plenty of public access at pool, lobby and restaurant. Our tv was broken, but we didn’t want to watch anyway, so it really didn’t affect us. We mentioned it at checkout and they said they’d had it fixed immediately. Loved the beach and seashells and sundowners. Great lap pool for morning swimmers. Loved that we had monkeys hanging around in the background, too - they were polite enough and kept distance :)

We generally love everything here. The staff in the restaurant make our trip even more special. Very grateful for their service and kindness. Location is wonderful. Right on the sea. Feels like you are the only ones here. We even had a turtle putting his eggs under the restaurant floors what was absolutely insane. Hotel is very nice and quiet, we got everything we wanted…so the little things like water power in our room in 3 floor - faded 😀 Thank you 🙏🏼

We went to the beach side restaurant for breakfast and lunch, at this hotel. The swimming pool was advertised outside, so we assumed as we had eaten there we could use the pool. When we were about to leave, a very rude member of staff started shouting and totally embarrassed us, in front of other people, he called the manager and made us feel like we were criminals , who had broken the law. Genuinely thought we could use the swimming pool, we don't have an issue in paying to use it. But being shouted at and hounded in public, in such a rude and aggressive manner, is totally unacceptable. Resulting in him reducing me to tears.

The hotel is located 2.5 km from the city, but there is a small shop in the hotel. There are many dining options nearby. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The room was cleaned regularly. The massages were good. At the reception, Eranga helped us almost every time, and Dinesh also left a good impression. In the restaurant, Sudath always greeted us kindly, and we saw Chamika (despite being smaller) helping someone in need in the ocean. One pizza guy did his job wonderfully, but unfortunately, I don’t know his name. The pool was warm, and the beach was close by. We could swim in the ocean in a “pool” a short walk away—where even children could safely enjoy the water. A very pleasant experience.

Small sweet hotel with a good restaurant on the beach. We had lot of great food and drinks on the sand right next to the ocean. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Sandeepa, who took really good care of us at the restaurant. They all do everything with great care. Can recommend.

A beautiful place. A short tuk tuk ride away from the nearest town, Lagoon Paradise Beach Resort is a perfect place for peaceful holiday. Our room was spacious, with a great view and eveything was clean. Our housekeeper Sandav made beautiful towel art on our bed every day. The hotel manager Anthony is super welcoming, gives a lot of good advice and can help with everything from sending transport and getting tuktuks to organizing beautiful tours around Sri Lanka. We loved every minute here.

Beautiful property at a calm place at the beach. To get 5 star reviews from us there should have been a fitness center and working WiFi in rooms. The food and restaurant was excellent! A very clean beach but unfortunately hard to swim in due to big waves and reefs.

Wonderfull experince in this paradise, thanks to kind and supportive crew from the director, to waietrs, cleaners, maintenance. Strongly recomended for safe and pleasant stay. Settled right on the beach; enjoyed drink (passion fruit mojito) and local spices , organic fruit and vegetables from their very good restaurant with the sound of the mighty Indian ocean. This is also great place for meditation, massage and spa. Selena and Drago former Yugoslavia, new Sri Lanka’s ambasadors.
