Rosedon - Adults Only from Jan 2025

We had a great experience having lunch by the pool. Our Bartender/Server was very helpful and friendly. She gave us some great suggestions. The fish club sandwich was delish!

I was in Bermuda for a wedding at one of expensive hotels on the island. I booked a cozy room at the Rosedon for two nights. My room was a bit faded; the newly renovated ones look very nice though, stylish but understated. The pool area is fabulous. Food’s delicious. The atmosphere is charming and the staff is great.

Exceptional hospitality at The Rosedon! We traveled to Bermuda for our honeymoon and wanted to stay a night in Hamilton before heading to our beach resort. The Rosedon was an amazing choice (perfect to explore Hamilton) and next time we are in Bermuda we will be sure to spend a few more nights there! We arrived later in the evening and Makayla had everything ready for us - food pre-ordered for us to have after traveling, plus a sweet honeymoon surprise…she’s such a gem! She really wanted us to have the best welcome to Bermuda and start to our honeymoon. The rooms are boutiquey & cute (and the AC is pumping!!). We spent time at the pool the following day which was lovely and it was easy to arrange the transport we needed in the afternoon. But here is the most notable part - Makayla & Shayla sent another sweet surprise to us at our NEXT HOTEL! If you’ve ever read Danny Meyer’s “Unreasonable Hospitality” - The Rosedon falls into that category!

The pool itself was clean and lively as were the chairs, towels, loungers and floats. The poolside service from the bar was horrible. The bartender acted like we were bothering her each time we ordered a drink. Her attitude was rude and she seemed to sit around and do a lot of nothing. My sister and I would have ordered food and more drinks if the service was better. She never came around to clear dirty glasses or ask if we needed anything. Lost opportunities and poor service. There was one bartender named Francis and he was excellent!

Had a girls afternoon on loungers by the pool with lunch and drinks. Beautiful setting, comfortable loungers and plush towels and pillows. Lovely service from the staff and food and drinks were great. I wound suggest more nibble foods for by the pool such crudité etc. Wonderful experience and will be back.

Well I wasn’t meant to be here …. On a cruise to Lisbon and my wife suffered appendicitis. We were offloaded and sent to hospital and I needed a place to stay. Finding short term accommodation in Hamilton isn’t easy at the best of times but with zero notice , anything half decent was booked. Then I found Roseden! Rachel found me a room for a few nights but as they were booked after that , then moved me to another hotel (won’t name it - was ok) , and then back to the Roseden. Turns out my wife had complications and I needed to extend. After much shuffling they managed to keep me there a further 6 days. The staff there (special mentions to Rachel and Kayla ) bent over backwards to make what was a rotten time for me as good as it could be. They could not have been more compassionate. This hotel has a heart. Unlike big faceless hotels, the people here were all friendly from the porter to the breakfast waiter to the chef. The rooms have been renovated and are very nice. Good cable tv/wifi/facikities. Beautiful pool area and overall a relaxed boutique hotel feel. I didn’t want to leave. In fact my wife is out of hospital and we are going back for their excellent Sunday brunch. I can’t thank the people at Roseden enough. It is a friendly comfortable luxury hotel, walking distance to Hamilton town and everything you need. Food is great (Clarabelles pizza bar is excellent). Stay here if you want a warm personal welcome, comfortable rooms in a great location. Thanks everyone.
