Hotel Riviera

Great hotel for families with children, amazing entertainment team. They are very friendly and so much fun. Keep everyone busy and make sure all guest are feeling good and have good time. Hotel without them wouldn't be the same. All staff is very helpful and nice. Loads of variety of food. Highly recommended to all.

Arrived at night, wasn't a good start with the unhelpful grumpy man in suit on reception, and then the bar having run out of practically all alcohol.... BUT... the next day, it got better. The pool area was nice, I personally didn't get in the water but lots of people did, even though was cold due to time of year. Slides were not open due to season. Food, was plentyful, and I never had a problem with finding anything to eat. The waiters are very efficient and friendly.. The cleaning staff, especially maids are very good and friendly too, working hard all day. The barstaff are so friendly , although sometimes there are long queues. They are happy to let you fill your own cups and even bring your own duty free to use. Animation team were very attentive, friendly, bubbly, big shout out to Nina, Daizy, Joe and Subway for providing is entertainment, on their day off....it was so boring without them. I enjoyed playing darts, karaoke and dancing with them. The hotel location is perfect, to walk to the marina, hard rock, el mandra, and at the hotel itself, out the front is Bristol bar, with live music and dj until early hours

This was my first time to Tunisia but i will definitely go back just unlikely i will go back to this hotel. Whilst there were many good parts eg staff were super friendly and accommodating Nabil in the shop went out of his way to find my asd son a cup with a straw (as i left his in the car by accident and it is the only cups he will drink from). He went and found one after work & brought it in for me, he also refused any money for it! Nina, Daizy, Fares & Rio showed my son nothing but kindness, running around with him, dancing, playing, teaching him dance moves i honestly couldnt fault any of them! Bar staff were super kind, happy to fill our own cups, happy to cater to whatever we asked (as long as they had the stock) down part is alcohol ran our quickly and is not as strong as the alcohol we are used to. Staff in the restaurant set us up the same table every day and “reserved” it so that my son was in a familiar seat where i could see him whilst getting his food, they also let him walk around the dining area with them and greeting him at every meal time with a huge smile, hi 5 or hug! Unfortunately the food is extremely repetitive and i personally dont think it caters for younger child, children with extra needs or children that will only eat simple food. Whilst the hotel was generally clean and tidy, it looked like it hadnt been upgraded in many many years, lots of thing were broken/falling apart and generally quite shabby. The games are opposite the main bar had most of the games turned off, the pool table was broken and the queues had no tips. Whilst i would go back to this hotel on a girly holiday or holiday with adult family, i personally wouldnt return with my child (which is a shame as again the staff were so so lovely)

We spent very nice time in this hotel and filled like we are among old friends ( there were mostly European: Polish, Serbian, English, Slovakian, Czech, Italian Macedonian, Ukrainian…) Stuff is mostly nice and especially one smiling girl- Manel- made us happy. She tried to do all the best for us but the biggest showing of respecting us was putting Ukrainian flag near the another flags close to central entrance of the hotel after we asked about it. Because it’s very, very important for all Ukrainian guests and for all the people of democratic countries now. All 14 days of our vacations Manel and a few people of stuff interested about if are happy here and did all the best for us. That thing that we didn’t like there was a bad smell from our balkony (we had garden vew room) at night but we didn’t change the room because another rooms were too noisy(from the pool ot kitchen). So we couldn’t sleep good at night. The food was a good quality so we really enjoyed it. White wine at the restaurant for lunch and for dinner was really great. Room cleaned every day and towels changed. The beach is not very clean and beachboy was not friendly. But generally sea and locals are very beautiful.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel overall. The beach is stunning and literally right on your doorstep, perfect for relaxing or swimming. The animation team was honestly one of the highlights! They were super friendly, energetic, and made every day fun with activities and entertainment. You can tell they really care about making sure everyone has a good time. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and has a really nice layout. It feels safe and welcoming, with a chilled atmosphere during the day and a more lively vibe in the evening.
