I have just returned from another stay in Kanta hotel Port El Kantoui Tunisia. I have thought carefully and reviewed all aspects of my 14 night stay. On arrival I was extremely annoyed that I had to pay an additional £150 than I was previously quoted. As I was tired I accepted this but this was not a good start to my Holiday. I am an extremely loyal Guest and travel 3 to 4 times every Year. Without a doubt this is due to the Magnificent Staff who I find ALWAYS go out of their way to help you. The only Negative thing I have to say was that the food was often bland repetative and luke warm. When discussing with Staff they went out of their way to help . The Manager Ashref arranged for myself and other British Guests to have a La Carte Table service which was absolutly Brilliant a good choice of dishes served HOT and efficiently. In fact this was arranged for our last two Days in the Kanta. The Staff really are wonderful From Walid and Lotfi in Restraunt to Kamel in Bar who is Brilliant at his job and the Housekeeping Staff Mohamed the Supervisor and Fatma who cleaned my room to very High Standards. I visit the Spa regularly and the Girls are friendly and professional. I usually Deal with Najwa who owns the Spa she is brilliant and offers a first class service from massage, hairdressing, podiatary, Nails whatever your Spa needs are she is so professional. I am hoping to visit once again in November the tempratures were 28 to 30 degrees. All in all The Hotel Kanta is a lovely hotel. Like all hotels of its age it requires some upgrading but for the price it is a Bargain Sunshine Holiday. The main details I look for in a holiday are Clean rooms, Great service Sunshine and decent Food. The Kanta has these in abundance as long as the food is served hot.I usually give a 5 star rating and with Hot food back on the menu my next review shall be 5 Stars. I Thank all the Staff for another Very enjoyable Holiday.
