This one has seen better days. A lot of maintenance issues that had gone unreported for a long time. Shower/bathtub would not drain at all. Washbasin was very slow. AC filter was in need of a good cleaning. A side door is supposed to be locked from the inside but stayed open and unsecured all night. This was just as expensive as a really well maintained Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Freeport. Your dog is welcome but it will cost you a 15$ fee. The breakfast was good and had options for a take out box. Location seemed very odd, and seems far from Bangor proper.

Easy to locate off highway. Receptionist was warm and welcoming. It was her third day on the job… you have an excellent employee!! Room was clean. Love the unique decor. No pics… plenty already on here. Ate next door at Dysarts truck stop. Delicious and didn’t need to drive to get there.

This was our 20th anniversary getaway and they exceeded what I expected. Great room, excellent service, full breakfast. Worth every thing we spent. Thank you to all your staff for a memorable stay! If you're able to splurge on one of their suites, go for it, ours was the wilderness lodge and was tucked into a corner away from the other rooms. Great jacuzzi, double shower, quiet corner, worth the price! We ordered a pizza and was perfect for a night snack without leaving the room! Love the history and vintage charm throughout the hotel.

Really unique venue. Very clean. Very cool. Friendly desk. Easy checkin and out . Clever little hospitality items. Easy to get to everything. Scenic. Truck stop diner nearby. Quiet. Able to get rest. Really comfy pillows and beds. Check out the cool chairs in the lobby.

This is the most unique Best Western I have ever stayed in. It kind of looks like the White House, and when you go inside you feel like you are in an historic museum. We've stayed in a lot of Best Westerns as Diamond Members, and this one wins the unique contest!!!

A very nice hotel with historical charm. Large flat screen TV, beautifully furnished. The employees were helpful and friendly. A shout out to Rose, who took the time to help us find things to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning someday! Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park were beautiful. We enjoyed hiking the trails there. Breakfasts were very good.

Beautifully appointed room ~ soft warm lighting provides eye comfort ~ fireplace provided warmth and ambience ~ comfy bedding ~ comfy chair ~ wonderful staff! ~ grand old guest house fully updated but with the feeling of yesteryear. LOVED our stay here :)

Best Western White House was the best choice for lodging in Bangor. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was huge and all of the amenities were excellent. It was very clean. Our room had a full kitchenette and a dining table (no eating on the bed!) I will be staying here again!

Our first priority was the hotel, being dog friendly. There was a slight musky odor, but it wasn’t that annoying The hotel was very clean and spotless. The staff was great. We had two queen beds that were very comfortable. And the hotel was only minutes from downtown Bangor. we had to take the Stephen King tour because I love his books Also, they had a wonderful free breakfast and at night since we didn’t feel like going out, they cooked us a pizza part of the hotels policy. They also had alcohol if you wanted to have an adult drink. Nice pool and hot tub very clean We would stay here again and heartbeat
