A lovely stay at Mangota hotel! Got an upgrade and a drawing as a compliment from the hotel on my birthday! Clean rooms! Very accommodating stuff! Special thanks to Sara, the manager of the hotel. Close to the metro (10 mins walk). A nice promenade right next to the hotel.

I recommend you experience a stay at this hotel. It was one of the most comfortable and fun stays ever. Sara, one of the hotel employees, helped me from the start to the end. Her English is good, and willing to answer your question at anytime and at any place. The pool was really nice and had a great view. The breakfast was delicious.

The overall stay was nice, the location is not in the center but around 20 min walk from the metro station and around 5 metro station from the central city. The hotel is nice, clean and modern but not too big, and the staff doesn’t speak English. The rooms are decent clean and neat but kind of basic design. The one thing I have to mention is the breakfast is quite poor. There were no basic veggies such as cucumber and tomato, just 4 different kind of leafs. No extra things like pancakes or waffles, pastries etc. If you like hotel’s breakfast or not really into Chinese breakfast I’d advice you to reconsider. I’m a huge breakfast lover so I was a bit disappointed. The western steak dinner was given as part of the booking for free was a great addition value, so does the photoshoots session. Those definitely added to the stay’s value. Overall the stay was ok I’d give it 4/5.

Hotel stay was very comfortable, there was a “menu” to select the amenities and items you need for the stay. The breakfast area was really pretty. The hotel staff Xiao Yun (小云) was really nice and helpful, and would accommodate our requests. (It was also very simple to arrange to send and collect our Taobao shopping)

The location is very convenient, the staff is super nice (at the reception as well as in the breakfast room) and helpful and the view on the river was stunning. Breakfast is typical Chinese with fresh fruits like mango, pineapple, dragon fruit etc.

We chose the hotel expecting a somewhat semi-luxurious room (booked the executive suite), and from the pictures of the fancy building it seemed suitable. However the actual hotel is one of many in the building, and this particular one is probably the worst one. Lobby is in the back entrance, and resembles a 1-star hotel. Very unprofessional and not pleasant. Felt like checking in to a youth hostel. No one helped with the suitcases to the room. Room was really disappointing, looked aged, not clean, and not comfortable. Missing many basic amenities. Cigarette burns all over the cheap wooden floor. A/C couldn’t switch to a cold setting, so we were sweating the whole night. Just really disappointing experience for this price. Would not recommend at all.

My recent stay at Mangata Hotel in Hangzhou was a delightful experience. The hotel's tranquil location and serene atmosphere offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fairly disappointing. Looks nothing like the photos. Materials are cheap and worn like a budget hotel. Room smells funky, no sound proofing, very slippery floors. Pool is also very cheap and nasty, not clean with gunk all around it. Need to wear a swimming cap to swim. Absolutely no shade anywhere, no umbrella or anything and only open 1000-2000. No anemities for the pool either. No pool shoes, bag, or extra towels. Staff were friendly, comfy bed, decent showers, views are very nice, breakfast was average. 'sunset champagne package' was fine also but should give ticket on arrival.

This is my second stay at the hotel. The service is really great. The front desk service is very proactive and Xiao Gan is great. The room has a high floor and complete facilities. You can see the river view from the room. The room is clean and tidy. Very good. I am very satisfied with my overall stay. Breakfast is on the 40th floor. There are many varieties. It combines Chinese and Western styles. The hotel provides free parking. It is really good. I will come to this hotel again next time and look forward to my next stay~

The location is brilliant - right next to the river. The evening view from the window was fantastic. If you're into running, there's a great running path that follows the river. Perfect!!! The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade when we arrived (although not sure what the upgrade included since the room looked pretty much like what we had booked). The room itself was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom looked nice at first, but then the shower drain didn't work properly and when checked it was clogged up. The water from the shower kept spilling through to the toilet cabin - the sealing between the two needs checking. The overhead shower didn't look clean and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. We had an air purifier in the room (I guess that was the upgrade?) but it kept switching off after a minute. And for some reason the hair drier only worked in the socket next to the window. We were really looking forward to sitting by the pool in the evening, but we were told that we had to pay 1,000 RMB to use that area in the evening. That should have been made clear in the hotel description since one of the reasons we booked this hotel was so we could admire the view in the evening from there. Overall, very happy with the location but the bathroom needs repairs.
