+ the best location in the city but not a lot of places around working after 9 pm - staff don’t speak English (when we made check in)

Nice hotel with great views, close to outlet & short distance walk to Qiantang River. Breakfast has good variety & staff friendly.

The service in the hotel is really good, the hotel staff attitude is warm and thoughtful.. The sanitation of the room is also very clean.. hotel is very near to metro station just 100m far away I think.. and the breakfast is really great!

Personally, I got a room which had a river view. The room was spotless and had a really nice view. The service and facilities were really great. Overall, it is worth it to stay here for a night!

I’m so happy to stay in mercure! The staff was so friendly especially Cathy who helped me a lot! The amenities was also good including laundry self services. Definitely will stay here when I comeback to hangzhou next year! Thank you so much I had a great time🙆🏻♀️

It was a good stay in the heart of the city with all the amenities.

Ideal location. Walking distance to the City Balcony and Outlet Mall. Perfect for those who want to watch the Hangzhou light show. The hotel is located from the 52nd to the 57th floor, so the view from the room is very wide.

The hotel staff are very helpful, they go beyond and over to help, the hotel is very beautiful, clean and calm definitely recommend everyone there, I order anything from outside and it arrives very fast, with the robotic delivery making it more amazing.

Arrived late at hotel, requested a view to the round buildings next below, and they had agreed as a free upgrade. However they gave me a smelly smoking room with not the desired view. Requested another room with desired view, and mainly: not smoking smelly room. They replied it was an additional charge for the view, once inside another room I liked. After moving me to several other rooms (some smelly) at that late time and being tired, finally I got a decent smaller, not smelly, and decent view room. But, why not offered at beginning, and avoid the hassle to a tired visitor moving me thru different floors with the luggage, why not flexible with the room they took me inside, and when asked, it was more expensive. Other than that incident, the stay was pleasant.

Unpleasant stayed. Please believe all the negative reviews from others. Hygiene is poor,also the service. Room is so stinky, the smell is so bad as soon as you entered the room , will give you dizzy and headache . Bugs on the floor, huge mold in the fridge, inches of dusts on the stairs. There is a partition on the window so you can’t see full view even that you booked the view room plus the window is super dirty. The staffs are not friendly , they will greet you sometimes but it just fake you will get that uncomfortable feelings. I stayed for 5 nights, breakfast is all the same. On the first day I had breakfast , as a foreigner I couldn’t read Chinese so I pointed out the menu but the chef just scolding at me asking what do you want with that tones ,so rude. Thanks for the staff who saw me and told him what I want . The lady at the restaurant will clean your table really quickly even that I was still eating or left the things on the table when coming back she already cleaned, so annoying. The hotel elevator (floor52-57) is super super small plus smelly . At 8am the staff banged on my door non stop and asked me to turn down the TV volumes cause the next room couldn’t sleep. It’s 8am !!! Not in the middle of the night and if you can hear the TV next door that probably mean soundproof is very bad . Only good thing is location but it’s not worth the price , (5nights almost 4000RMB). There are many hotels out there , you better book those. Very disappointed my first time in Hangzhou and chose this hotel.

Amazing hotel we went for the suite but the air con system was not that good, that said everything was perfect and especially for the lovely Dawn who looked after us and made sure everything was perfect, we booked for 7 nights due to work commitments and I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for all their courtesies, also the breakfast was very good too
