For those who want to splurge on a place to relax while enjoying beautiful west lake view. They also gave me a free room upgrade so I got a balcony!The only thing to watch out is the weekend traffic controls

Hotel is situated on West Lake. Accommodation are at different villas around this huge place. If you are looking for a relaxing place, this is it. Would have been better if the staff were able to communicate in English.

We had an excellent stay at the Xizi Hotel, a heritage site with beautiful scenery. We could walk along the West Lake without leaving the hotel grounds. The hotel has a rich history, having hosted Chairman Mao for 26.5 out of 29 of his visits to Hangzhou. It also hosted the G20 summit in 2016. At 4 pm, there’s a 50-minute guided tour of the historic places and buildings within the hotel. The hotel is perfect for a long stay, offering a relaxing atmosphere and close proximity to attractions. We had dinner at the Xizi Restaurant, where Amy (陈晓梅) personally looked after us. The entire staff was wonderful. The only downside is the limited dining options if you stay there for an extended period. Additionally, there are traffic restrictions on Saturdays and Sundays. Buffet breakfast is wonderful too.  Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Xizi Hotel.

This is the best hotel I have been to. Very nice view of west lake, will definitely come back again!

A fantastic stay. Hotel facilities, cleanliness, and hospitality are top notch. Cannot beat this location right next to Leifong pagoda and West Lake. 10/10

Beautiful environment right on the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Breakfast has varieties. Room is spacious and clean.

I’m a local, picked this hotel to host a friend , we stayed for a night. Location was gold, and the private garden was huge, totally exceeded our expectation, right on the westlake and beside the Leifeng tower. We stayed in building 6, amenity was the likes of l’occitane and Dyson , great. And staffs were friendly, and helpful, especially 小徐。 she poured us some osmanthus tea when we came back from a walk in the hot summer day, we felt welcome. Would definitely come again for a staycation, and recommend this place to friends. :)

We had an amazing stay at this luxury hotel. The location is outstanding with surrounded by stunning natural scenery and very quiet, making it a perfect escape from the busy city life. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and truly refreshing. The room was large, beautifully designed, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail reflected the hotel’s high standards and luxury atmosphere. We enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a great variety of delicious food. The staff were friendly and attentive. We also chose the photography package, which was a lovely experience. It allowed me and my husband to capture meaningful memories in HanFu as a young married couple, with the breathtaking natural views of West Lake adding to the charm – truly unforgettable. As my flight was late at night, we requested to extend our stay for half a day, and the hotel was kind and accommodating in arranging it for us. We really appreciate their flexibility and service. This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience.

Wonderful hotel with amazing scenery and views of the West lake. Very well kept gardens and beautifully curated common areas. Hotel also provided complimentary photoshoot experiences - special thanks to our makeup artist Yueyue, Zhen zhen and wei wei and our awesome photographer Wuhao from 笑玩旅拍 for making the photoshoot super fun and the overall experience super enjoyable.

This hotel was gorgeous and serene. It has private access to the West Lake. We also loved the free photo shoot and our photographer as well as make up artist were very helpful. We would recommend trying this service if you are staying at this hotel and have a few extra hours to spare!

The staffs at hotel were wonderful!! Excellent breakfast. The restaurant in front of the hotel was fantastic!!!

Booked the lakeview hotel and able to see sunrise at villa 3. The staffs were all very nice and helpful. Beautiful rooms with a modern traditional vibe. The lunch although pricey at 256 yuan (50 yuan discount for guests) was glorious. Didnt have enough time to try everything cuz was too good. Opens only for 2 hrs so do go early! Free photoshoot with costumes. Only 5 pictures free, should take some selfies while u have time. The hotel is like a resort, u have to call bugee to get around. Do plan your trips beforehand as it can get inconvenient if planning to travel in and out often within a day. Otherwise enjoy it like a resort and walk around the place! Its huge!
