My partner, daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lakeview Hotel Hangzhou from March 24 to March 27, 2025, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to Hangzhou’s attractions. We were particularly impressed with the exceptional friendliness and professionalism of Linda Yuan and Bella Jin. Their warm, attentive service made our stay truly memorable. Whether it was offering local recommendations or ensuring our needs were met with a smile, they consistently exceeded our expectations. The room service was equally outstanding—prompt, meticulous, and delivered with genuine care, thanks to Linda and Bella’s efforts. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities we could ask for. The overall ambiance of the hotel, combined with its top-notch service, created a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. We left feeling pampered and already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Lakeview Hotel Hangzhou, and a special shoutout to Linda Yuan and Bella Jin for making our three-night stay so unforgettable!

Great location! Just minutes walk away from Hangzhou lake. Service is very good. We also used the laundry service - as we were only staying for one night, the lady helped us to speed up the cleaning and delivered our cleaned laundry within a few hours without extra charge. She packed it very nicely in bags and it was as though our cleaned clothes were new! Special shoutout to Lee Xiaorong 李小荣 she was amazing :)

I booked the hotel for my parents and they were really impressed by the service of the hotel, in particular Ms. Yajun Jin who has been kind and caring to them. They are 100% satisfied with their stay.

This is a historical hotel located right around renowned West Lake. The guests can enjoy lake view from their lake side room window which bringing us an unforgettable memory when travelling and staying in Hangzhou. The bedding and mattress are in good quality as if we were at home. Not only that , this hotel’s customer service team is exceptional. Every employee is well trained, like Miss Yuan Jing Jing who visited us couple times during our stay. She is super attentive and caring to our needs, arranging the ideal rooms for us when we requested. In the meantime, Miss Zheng zhi hong and the team offered us 5star housekeeping services as well. My only concern is the strong smell at the floor’s corridor due to some people are smoking there.  It’s a shame the hotel failed to be consistent with their non-smoking at the premises policy. Other than that, it is a great choice when picking a 5 star hotel with high service standard near the gorgeous West Lake.

Easy stroll to West lake, Wulin night market, Yintai shopping mall and many great restaurants nearby. We stayed three nights in one lake view suite and one city view room. The view from the lake view suite is fantastic! The attached sunset picture was actually taken in the room! I want to call out for Yajun and Huapin from the service team who are super friendly and gave us some great tips for Hangzhou! The breakfast is included with a good variety of choices. My kids especially love the Doraemon dissert which is so cute! See my attached photo too. On our last day, we even walked to the subway station at Fengqi road with several big luggages to catch a train at the railway east station. Without a local mobile number it's hard to catch a cab and cabs are usually small to fit more than one big luggage. Just notice at the intersection of Qingchun and Yan'an road you cannot turn left but to cross the pedestrian bridge with the escalator to the other side of the road first.

Very good location by Xihu. Nice selection at breakfast including the makings for a full English breakfast. A couple of small disappointments for me, however. I paid 600 RMB extra for a lake view but the view (see below) was less than I expected based on the promo picture on the site. My wife called the front desk and was told that for even more extra we could get a better view. Also, as a tea lover, I had higher expectations of the tea shop in the lobby—the staff seemed to have been hired because they were young and cute rather than because of their enthusiasm for tea. Overall a pretty good place.

I recently stayed at the Lakeview hotel and had a good experience. This hotel has an excellent location,close to a few major major scenery points. The outdoor temperature was high, but the floor managers 余英 袁菁菁 provided outstanding service。Whenever I requested additional water bottles, they were delivered to my room almost immediately.

Great location and very good service provided from Bella Jin and 爱香.

Walking distance to West Lake, night market and famous restaurant. We enjoy staying in this hotel a lot. Will stay again if visiting Hangzhou in the future

We stayed in the Lakeview Hotel Hangzhou for few days in late December 2024 and had a wonderful time. My friend and I enjoyed going down for breakfasts because there are a variety of quality food items. The hotel being just a couple of blocks away from the beautiful West Lake, we were able to stroll down the banks of the Lake. It is also close to a night market where one can enjoy great food at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed very courteous and responsive services from almost all hotel staff. In particular, my friend and I want to sing the praises of Mr. Zhou (客服部的周先生)。 He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. He took time to do research on our choices of sightseeing in the City.

Location is great, adjacent to the lake and market. The staff Wangfang (万芳) and Jingjing (菁菁) are very kindly and helpful. Generally, it is a happy stay.

The housekeepers sister Hong and her partner sister ning (i think that was her name) were super attentive. Always making sure we have all the supplies we need. They greet us everytime they see us. Makes us feel very welcome.

Breakfast huge & varied, but not great. Coffee could be a lot better. The rooms with the lake view suffer for lack of tighter, triple-glass windows. You hear a LOT of traffic & other noise from outside. Still, for the money, it's a decent place & a good location.
