Tunger Grand Hotel recensioner

Easy to access and many eateries around, a pity the wifi is weak. Breakfast was good and very filling with international and local choices.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The description in Trip.com says that this is a 4 star and it was built in 2024. The photos of the room advertised shows newly painted room with comfy beds and the price was for a 4 star room. When we arrived to our room, the room and bathroom were very old and extremely noisy. There was absolutely no soundproofing. The beds are not comfortable and my friend couldn’t sleep all night. For the money we paid, this hotel room was extremely disappointing. Will never book again.

A great location in the heart of the old quarter. Lots of things to see and do within walking distance. Check in was easy and staff have been very accommodating

Basic hotel. It was mentioned on trip that this hotel opened Nov 2023 but it doesn’t seems that new. Great location though.

Located in tourist area, you can just walk around to visit few popular places in Hanoi

Location was good as you can walk everywhere but it was very noisy at night. Hotel was very clean and staff where very nice.

Location was good, and service. Not great facilities or cleanliness,  didn't realise this but it's definitely a budget hotel

We got there early 4am. The check-in guy let us stay in the lobby and also storage our luggages. When we came back from our day trip to Ha Long Bay, our luagge already in our room. Check-in is easy and fast. The check-in guy understands English well. Location too much noise...if you don't mind about noise, you will be fine because it's easy to get around and lots of food around. We only stay for a night. Towels don't look clean for me because there are yellow stains.

The hotel is well located in the old quarter. The room was big but the AC was not very effective. Service was more or less good. Nancy and Mike were efficient. Nice balcony with a view of the beer street. . No facilities at the hotel and elevator was small.

Service staff is helpful. Easy to walk around to shops, eateries and places of interest. Room cleanliness is average. There are some stains on the sofa seats and black spots on the bedcovers. The bathroom is small and the door doesn't close properly. Hairdryer doesn't function as the socket outlet is spoilt. Hotel room balcony is facing the road, quite noisy as vehicles travel pass. In the night, there more noises as there are pubs nearby with some loud music, people talking, and vehicles noises.

Great little Boutique hotel right in the centre of the old down.. 5 Minutes walking to Beer Street and 10 minutes to the lake. 1 minute walk to the main road for bus pickup for tours to Ha Long or outside Hanoi. Small laundry just across the street and ATM 5 minutes away. Great friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms decorated in a nice style. You will hear some street noise at night but that goes with any hotel in the old town location. Was perfect for my stay so I came back after my Ha Long cruise to stay again. Good price and great value. Has a lift so no issues with large/heavy luggage. When I return again would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good location and great service but that’s about it

A wonderful small hotel with everything you need. Situated in the heart of Old Quarter and in the hustle and bustle of Ha Noi. The hotel staff were so helpful and couldn’t do more to help us. Rooms comfy and I had a good nights sleep after a tour of the city. Would happily come back. Transfers organised for us to Ha Long Bay which made our travels even easier. Thank you so much Tunger Grand Hotel.

Locatoon: Hotel locates in the walking street. If you want to take rest, please reconsider. Night clubs and bars open until late night. Staff: When we arrived, 2 staff told us that there was no our booking in their system and need to talk with their manager first. For a while, we were requested to pay extra for upgrading room because the room type per our booking is ful. Finally, we need to wait them around a hour to allow us to check-in without extra payment. It was the first time of us in Vietnam and nothing to appreciate.
