I would totally recommend this hotel. The room is exactly looked like the pictures. Very strategic location, near to the touristy place such as the train street, many good food reachable within walking distance, even jazz and speakeasy bars. But most importantly I would recommend because all staffs and service were top notch!!! I booked 1 month in advanced and need to make certain arrangements due to my itinerary. I found their WhatsApp contact from Trip and they were very helpful, fast-response, and solutive to make sure I have a pleasant trip. Also, when I needed to leave early for a day trip, they even offered us to pack up some pancakes, bananas, and water because the breakfast service was not started yet. Thank you so much Calido Hotel! Looking forward to come back on my next visit!

This hotel has serious potential. All of the receptionist had great customer service with a smile. They are in a prime location. They lost points with me due to the tv not working. Room has a display of a nice looking 50 inch tv which is their just for appearances as well as the house keepers. They either need to look at the personal or revamp their protocol. They wouldn’t change the sheets after being pulled off the bed for new ones. Never gave shower gel or shampoo even after placing the empty bottles where they could be easily be seen as empty.

The hotel was just nice and is conveniently located near Hanoi Train Street. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. I’d suggest breakfast offered to have few more options other than banh mi, soup and pancakes. Our room also needed a little cleaning especially the toilet (seat cover is spoiled) and the shower head has hard water stains. We only stayed there for a night so we didn’t mind. Otherwise our stay was okay for the hotel budget.

Nice and cosy room. Clean neat and well kept. The reception folks were very friendly and helpful. Getting a car here to airport is similar to a grab fare, just need to ask them to arrange

Location is very nice. Two minutes walk to 28 train street. If you book a room no higher than the third floor. We had a room on the 5th floor. The water pressure is weak.

Great hotel room with strategic location. Near old quarter main market and hanoi train station. The breakfast is good.

Although the hotel is fine, clean, great location, something really bothered me. During breakfast, there was a selection of fruit and beverages (which you can help yourself to), so when I sat down, no one came to attend me to ask what I wanted for breakfast, about a 1 minute after, two guys came snd were immediately seen to. Despite noticing me then, the receptionist still did not have the decency to ask me what I wanted. I just had some fruit and left. For me it was a clear sign of favouritism and preferring certain guests to others (due to race/skin colour). You should treat all your guests equally.

The location is amazing, the bed is super comfortable and the staff is very nice. The shower also had nice pressure and the breakfast was good. The only issues were that there was mold in the shower and the air conditioning and you could here everything from the corridors.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The staff very nice , the room affordable and good, the location near the train street with 5 minutes walk. Near the local market. Not so busy area so we can enjoy our stay here. Overall very good, no complaint

We had a reservation for 4 nights with balcony and breakfast included. First of all, the hotel is in good location, like many other hotels around the area, 10 to 15 minutes to most of the places in old town. This could be the only good thing about this hotel. We regret that we didn't read reviews thoroughly. Google reviews says 4.3 out of 5. But, something has gone wrong along the way. Check in was smooth and easy as someone could expect. But, the unexpected, was the smell in the hotel lobby. It was something like fermented bamboo shoot if I have to describe. It was too bad that we never went down for breakfast because the restaurant is located on same floor and it's open type. And every time we had to pass the lobby to and from the elevator to entrance door, we just held our breath and run. We were on the 5th floor and it smelled like a damp rug. The hotel is located in a good location, but the surrounding area is quite dirty. There is no other way to describe about it. I Luckily, there was no smell inside our room. The room was spacious, but, the cleanliness, this should be one star when it comes to it. There was long hairs in the bathroom, iron rusts here and there, ants here and there and many cigarettes butts outside the balcony. And the balcony looked like it was cleaned a month ago. The towels were greyish white. The toilet flush doesn't work properly. The hot water in the shower is incredibly slow. Wifi was too bad, we didn't even bother to call. Good thing that mobile data was cheap in Vietnam. When it comes to the staffs, they seems nice. But, nice doesn't get you anywhere if a great service can't be delivered. A few minutes after we checked-in into our room, someone suddenly opened the door and closed it right away without saying a word. We were surprised and confused at the same time. We called the reception and they responded that it was the housekeeping that opened the door because the room occupancy has not been updated yet at the moment. During our stay, we asked for a softer pillow or a smaller one because the two pillows that they have in the room are so big and too firm. I couldn't imagine someone sleep on it and not have a neck fatigue. The receptionist said that they don't have any other pillows, so, we had to fold our small blanket and use it as a pillow our entire stay. One day before we check out, we inquired about the baggage stowage service because we like to check out early and go for a day tour, and then straight to the airport. A tomboy-like receptionist (please excuse my language because we didn't get her name) said that "Yes, it's okay Sir!". The very next morning when we checked out, the same receptionist was telling us that " it's not possible because they don't have enough space for us. They only have space for customers who are checking in now." We said that we are also customers and we only have two luggages, one big and one small. And we already asked you about it yesterday and you said it was okay." But, the receptionist kept refusing to keep our luggages regardless of what was spoken previously and there were clearly spaces in the lobby or just outside the reception area (or anywhere in the hotel). It was very inconvenience for us, because before we booked the tour, we made sure that our luggages could be kept in the hotel as we check out. Regardless, that receptionist kept saying "No!". We are extremely disappointed with the service and overall quality of our stay. Hands down. Never again in this hotel!

The staff is very nice, the room is clean and good location

Clean and central. Near to Train station and many shops around. The staffs are very helpful and everything went smoothly. Definitely, recommend for the stay!!

Decent hotel for a very reasonable price. Would recommend to any travelers looking for an affordable stay!

Service from reception is exceptional. The only thing to feedback is the smell from piping drain caused the room smelly for whole night. If you do not mind to sleep with that “shit”smell then this is good hotel in terms of location. Very near to train street.
