Wonderful staff, clean and nice rooms, right in the center of everything: plenty of restaurants, shops, close walk to everywhere and everything. Tensecond walk to Hanoi cathedral or St. Joseph’s Cathedral .

The breakfast is simple and tastes average. Cleanliness needs to be improved. The reception staff communicates well and speaks fluent English.

Had the displeasure of booking multiple rooms in this awful establishment. I will repeat what I wrote in my previous review: This has got to be one of the worst hotel experiences ever. From check in - with one of the most useless members of front desk staff I have ever met, to trying to contact the manager to deal with our complaints. The place is filthy - I urge you not to listen to the 5* reviews here but take a look at the more accurate recent ones on Google. There is mould and damp in the rooms- apparently we were informed via trip this is due to the humidity. It is funny that no other hotels in the old town are in this state! When we complained the aforementioned member of the front desk staff was apathetic and said we could try and contact the manager but she would not do anything. The manager did not reply to any phone calls/emails/Facebook messages. Honestly, so bad. See pictures below.

Affordable, safe quiet place, helpful and polite staff. Breakfast included. Hotel beside other hotels. Adjacent to the big old church and walking distance to lotus water puppet area , solo pagoda and ho hoan kiem lake and UNIQLO shop. . Many food area nearby. Good place to stay. Recommended.

Hotel not friendly user for family and carry big luggage. 5am morning church bell for around 15 minutes . For backpackers OK For family travel, iI do not recommend

Everything was perfect. The room was very comfortable, in the city centre, the bed was excellent.

We had a fine stay at this hotel. Location is excellent being in the main area but still quiet because it’s off on a little side street. Cleanliness could have been better and the building feels a bit old and warn but overall a good place to stay. The breakfast is great! You get eggs of your choice and lots of fruit!

Great location, staff was friendly and booked us tour to Halong Bay, Ninh Binh and taxi at our request. The room was large and very clean. They also offer free breakfast in the mornings!
