Really great value hotel. Very good breakfast with ample choices. Staff are exceptionally nice & helpful. Location is very good and rooms are very comfortable. If you want to stay in heart of the Old Quarter and not stretch your budget this Hotle is for you.

I have returned to Elegance Ruby for a second stay since 2012. The service here is still EXCEPTIONAL, OUTSTANDING and 5 STAR, better than any other place that ive stayed in VN and it made our stay here PERFECT. I want to truly THANK YOU Elegance Ruby Staff, there is nothing you could've done better. I stayed here with my daughter for her 21st birthday with trips in between. I have stayed at many hotels across the globe ranging from economy to 5 star and the staff make Hanoi elegance ruby the best. I booked this hotel after reading past reviews and my stay exceeded all expectations. Ignore Pan88 (recent review) if they wanted 5 star luxury, they should have booked a 5 star hotel and paid the price. Tip: book your trips through the hotel, we enjoyed a fabulous tour of sapa and overnight trip on halong bay. Well done to all the staff who made our stay extra special. Could not fault anything. Breakfast is amazing, including the coffee. The staff work very hard to produce freshly cooked food to order. Well done elegance ruby, we loved you!

Exceptional small hotel in the old town. Extremely helpful staff, Benzo Anna and Ruby were extraordinary. Breakfast was best we had in South East Asia. Would definitely stay again. Old Town Hanoi is organised chaos. A unique place where road traffic,scooters in particular behave like the higher level of a frenetic video hame.

We had 3 rooms for our party of 6 all rooms were comfortable and as described. The breakfast was varied and plentiful good variety and quite a few items cooked to order. The food was good quality and well presented. Anna on reception was very helpful and did her best to check we were OK everyday. Jessica sorted 3 days of excursions for our family and arranged SIM cards for us. She stayed in touch making sure we were happy and the trips were progressing as planned although the hotel is 3 star rated the service and people are definitely 5 star.

I have stayed at multiple places in the old quarter before but this hotel was the best!! Our room was clean and simple and just what you need when spending your time exploring the old quarter. The staff were amazing! Jessica and Anna were so helpful with all of our questions and when we needed to visit a hospital during the trip, Benzo helped us by translating to medical staff over the phone. Great buffet breakfast there too!

Very clean and pleasant hotel. Centrally located within the Old Quarter and there were numerous eating places within a stones throw. Access to and from the hotel is easy. Taking the alleyway to Hang Da, we also passed through a street of markets, selling fresh produce. What an interesting taste of local life. The daily buffet at the hotel was delicious and value for money. Thank you to Jessica, Lanh and Benzo who shared their hospitality with us. Staff speak good English and are very accommodating. Would recommend this place.

Staff incredible. Staff are so nice and go out of their way for you. They delivered a cake (we hadn’t requested or noted it was my birthday), they just noticed from my passport. They also helped come up with solutions when I was struggling to book a train ticket and stored our bags when we went to Halong Bay. A/C good and beds comfortable. Love the little things they say like, we like you to eat a lot!

I hesitate to write a truthful review because then everyone will want to stay here but it really is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Every single staff member was delightful, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I have stayed here 4 times and every time was lovely. It’s like coming home. Great position in the Old Town which is so interesting. Love the market which is everyday in the laneway where the hotel is located. Fabulous cafe just across the way with the best egg coffee in town. Breakfast in the hotel is also lovely with lots of freshly made choices as well as all the usual buffet choices. And just want to mention the brilliant staff again. Thanks everyone - I hope to return soon.
