Harbin Wancheng Hotel

Very warm, staff were quite helpful despite language barrier. It is a 20 minute 100 yuan taxi drive from the Ice and Snow Festival and about an equal distance from the 731 museum, so centrally located between the main city sites. The front sign is only in Chinese characters and there is no front desk, so it is not immediately obvious it is a hotel unless you read Chinese, particularly since it is back from the main road and the cab cannot directly drop you off in front of it. I have attached photos to guide any future English speaking visitors. Get off the cab at the red bridge with yellow characters, and follow the wide road leading off the main street. There will be an iron gate. Enter that through the walking entrance and turn ride. It is the building directly down the street if you keep going straight. It has a statue of Guan Yu in the front. The room itself is small but quite warm and has everything needed.
