Super 8 by Wyndham Harlingen TX

I had prepaid and reserved my room. However, when I checked in, was told that my reservation from a king bedroom non smoking was changed to a 2 queen bed with smoking. This was unsatisfactory and unprofessional. But since I prepaid, the hotel clerk gave me a room that was reserved but they did not pay. Undecided if I will stay here again?

The place is dirty. The pillow are old and dirty. The maid they don't care about cleaning your room they are always on their cell phone. They have bed bugs all over the mattress the morning breakfast is out dated. The floors are cover with bugs .

This Hotel is quiet and decent. Directv in rooms is nice to have. Carpet in the rooms helps keep room from having that echo sound (sadly a lot of hotels are removing it). Any issues are usually resolved quickly and only 1 time it has happened in my approx. 10 yrs of being a customer. Hotel is close to grocery and other stores as well as various restaurants. Zoo and South Padre Island are not too far either.

Horrible hotel would not let my dog stay there. The room was dirty with holes in the walls, It smelled bad, there was on soap in the bathroom, and the bed linen and bath towels were worn out and dirty.

Property is run down, will ask for a deposit when you arrive, will charge processing fees for credit cards, we stayed in spa tub room that was higher priced only to be disappointed it was not clean and had broken tub faucets.

We travel every year to La Feria, Texas for our annual assemblies/conventions from our JW church. Every hotel was sold out and we found super 8 hotel last minute and it was very nice and we got a good night rest. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very patient too. Super nice!!

The laundry room was closed/broken nothing on the website about it, the room had several roaches it was disgusting and the bathroom fixtures were old and rusty the floor was all on even and had dips in it everywhere on the second floor were you thought you might fall threw the floor. Seriously I can not see how they can operate with those unsafe and unstable flooring. I can’t believe this is a Wyndham hotel. I can’t believe I even paid to stay in this hotel. If I haven’t have driven all day I would have canceled my room after seeing it and try to find a different hotel. I slept with the lights on cause I was scared about the roaches. They were all over the restroom and in the shower I couldn’t even shower cause I was to grossed out. I don’t think you could pay me to ever spend the night in that hotel again. Beyond disappointed l. This hotel should not be associated with the Wyndham name and should be condemned until they make the necessary repairs. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website or the restrooms and the breakfast bar looks nothing like the picture either. They had prepackaged donuts Nutri-Grain bars toast and Capri Sun and coffee and a waffle maker that’s what the breakfast consisted of nothing like the pictures.
