Premier Inn Harlow North (Harlow Mill)

Great welcome from the receptionist but the room smelt dreadful.. and that’s because the windows do not open. So no fresh air. Despite having air con the room stank of air freshener when I arrived and then the smell of stale feet all night.. Never booking a Premier Inn again without any opening windows… note to self.. check before booking 🙄 Otherwise a convenient and quiet area but I would suggest a room on the top floor as the noise from rooms above is considerable (I was in room 116 and the elephant above me decided the throw things loudly on the floor at 9pm)

Have stated before and it’s been okay, if not a little dated, however serves purpose. On this occasion… on arrival rooms not ready, when get into rooms they are dirty and dusty… No engagement or apology from any team for delays No offer of breakfast No acknowledgement of my complaint just looked at blankly.. Would struggle to recommend after this stay

From the moment I got to reception until I left, the staff were superb. Friendly, helpful and professional. The staff at the Beefeater were also excellent, for Dinner and Breakfast. Very clean hotel and room. It maybe a budget hotel in brand but is better than a lot of more expensive chains. You always know you will get quality with a sensible price with Premier Inn.

Perfect location ..close to Stansted Airport ...and just off the M11 Motorway. Room was the standard quality..clean ..and the bathroom has a bath. Only downside was our room was on the upper floor ..towards the rear ..so a fair bit was walking and in and out of corridor doors. Food was excellent in the adjacent Beefeater Restaurant ... Enjoyable stay. Would we stay there again ..YES

Very nice outside appearance conceals a slightly dated but acceptable inside. The reception area is cramped for groups or multiple guests arriving or if anyone needs to pass. There is no lift. This is mentioned in the hotel details, so not a complaint. Unfortunately our room wasn’t clean not well cleaned, including the bathroom. Other than that we really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Any longer a the Beefeater would have got very boring.

An older Premier Inn that has been extended at least once. Fairly small rooms some a long walk from the reception but a nice canal side setting away from traffic makes for a peaceful location. The adjoining Beefeaters Restaurant was busy at breakfast but everything was still as good as ever. The only disappointment was being unable to get a drink at the bar at 9:20pm on the Sunday evening as they close at 9pm on Sundays however the website still states 10:30pm.
