Harrington Village Motel

Headed up for a last minute trip to Crowdy beach and decided to stay at Harrington on the breakwall. I was sceptical after some of the reviews but don't believe everything you read! This place has recently been updated, the rooms (and bathrooms) were very clean, and definatley had that "freshly cleaned" smell. We travel alot and generally find motel rooms are just big enough for a bed and a bag, but our room was super spacious and inviting. Beds were clean and comfy and the shower was great. We walked each morning along the breakwall just across the road then relaxed on the balcony with our morning coffe overlooking the water, when it warmed up we read a book on the couch (inside the room) with the morning breeze, then headed to the beach in the arvo. I found the owners friendly and helpful giving us directions to get to local beaches, and eating spots around the area. If you travel alot this little place is one to appreciate. We will be back.

Don't judge this motel by the outside. Double room on the ground floor looked like it had been refurbished. Queen bed, table and two chairs,2 small tables for suitcasesand two seater lounge. Tea/coffe,Microwave,kettle and toaster provided. Cutlery and crockery available from BBQ area outside. Seperate Toilet area from Shower and basin. Shower floor was slippery when soaping up so do be careful. This is a 2 storey motel so there is no designated parking even though there is plenty of parking for all vehicles but you may not get one directly outside your room if on the ground floor. The Club Harrington and Thai Restaurant is not far down the road for dinner. We drove there.

Motel room was very comfortable and roomy. Would recommend this place if anyone is looking for somewhere to stay in Harrington. This place was reasonably priced. Bed very comfortable You can sit on the balcony with a view of the lake. Great BBQ set up

Everything is modern. Someone really took their time and planned the layout and decor. There is so much space. You have so much privacy with a large ensuite off a bedroom that could fit 4 queen beds and two more on its own private veranda. Great views from living room, bedroom, or kitchen. You can open up the full length glass doors and expand the rooms to fresh ocean breeze and listen to the native birds in the bushland just meters from the second private veranda. Easy access and parking. The carpark is another example of the owners taking pride in the quality of the guests experience over the quantity of rooms that most motels try to cram in. You can drive in or out either entrance with large car spaces to reverse or nose in at 45° right up to the door. The car park is in the centre of the block so you don't have to look at your car covered in bugs when enjoying the views. Ok I'm taking to long for an online review. I'll wrap it up quick. The rooms have everything like washing machines and TV, lounge. Ultra high ceilings. Modern split system aircons. And OMG space. I'm going to take a photo to prove it cos I know people won't beleive me, they have polished timber floors. These people want you to enjoy your stay. They are friendly and professional with the highest standard of cleaning I've seen in a motel and somehow their prices are so cheap. I am definitely staying again and would recommend this motel to honeymooners who want high quality, the family who want to create memories, travellers who want comfort and accessibility or the cheapskates like me who wanted to save money. You won't find better. Lastly, with hand on my heart, I know it's a big call "this place is better than the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas" well done to the owners and managers.

ok for a weekend away, beds clean tea/coffee supplied too embarrassed to use the pool it seemed to be in the owner's yard, close to the club easy walk. Upstairs had verandahs this would have been nice my fault I never asked beforehand.

First time staying here and won’t be the last. Welcoming check-in at the Irish pub, lovely large room with nice outlook, well appointed bathroom with spa bath, comfortable king size bed, robes provided. Limited provision of utensils in room if expecting. Ate at the Irish pub which was very good, overseen by Tony.
