Absolutely lovely room , spotless with everything you might need. Paul , the host ,was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Added bonus was the little kitchen/ eating area with tea, coffee , milk , yoghurts and cereal provided . Not to mention the fruit bowl full with apples pears oranges and bananas . Real treasure will definitely be returning ! 5 minutes from the town centre - ideal location.

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending an exhibition at the conference centre. The room was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated with plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The bathroom was modern with a lovely big shower. Breakfast wasn’t included but there was a small dining area with a selection of cereals and fruits, tea, coffee and fruit juice which you could help yourself to. Paul the host was very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is a short walk to the conference centre and the town. I would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend this beautiful place.

Nothing really to complain about, bathroom is a cupboard essentially. The bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. Tea and coffee provided and wardrobe contained iron, ironing board etc etc. Good value for money. Only let down was arrival, had to ring someone on the door to let me in. Again that's minor. I would recommend.

What a brilliant little find . Stayed 1 night while at a show in Harrogate. Great warm clean comfy room . Great kitchen facilities to help yourself to breakfast . Owner bery friendly even moved his car so i could park as no space on road. Would definitely stay here again . Great value for momey

Stayed at Acomb Lodge for a couple of nights away. Great little place. Room (2) was spacious and very clean. Free wifi. Off road parking on drive provided. Host Paul, very friendly and helpful. Location of accommodation was great. We decided to go to Knaresbrough for the day, and Paul suggested train… 9 minutes and £7.80 return for the 2 of us.. lovely place. Would definitely recommend for couples getaway.

Outstanding in every way: Excellent location, perfect room, spotlessly clean and a very warm and friendly welcome with great advice on the local area on arrival. More enjoyable than the best hotel and a fraction of the price. Thanks so much Paul and I'll see you again soon!

Was booked in to stay here in January 2021, cancelled due to covid so agreed with Paul on the phone to keep my room booked for 2022 and paid a deposit of £45. January BTME 2022 was cancelled again, and as room price was up by £100 extra on 2021 price I confirmed I would not be attending with this room cost increase. Still waiting on my £45 being returned to me, seems to be excuse after excuse and the money never appears back to me, althoughPaul has agreed the refund and continues to say it will be retuned! Poor show and would advise against using this place!
