Sunseeker Cottages Motel

We love to be self contained and these sun drenched cottages with their commanding views over the countryside were perfect. Situated in beautifully landscaped and maintained gardens. Just a few minutes drive from all Paihia has to offer. Sylvia and Jim were amazingly understanding and helpful regarding my husband’s back pain and the need for a firm mattress, not the horrible pillow tops everywhere else. We were also able to book some tours through them with an added discount, so convenient. Shared laundry with an honesty box allowed us to easily wash and dry our clothes. Our own BBQ and deck provided some low cost, home cooked meal options when we desired. Phat House Brewing Co is just down the road. Excellent beers and pizza. You can walk but I wasn’t keen to walk back up the hill after drinkies! If self contained is what you’re after, this is a great place to stay. (I did note the property is up for sale at time of writing.)

Can't fault it the place in any way. It was clean and tidy, had everything we needed and was well priced. The only thing you need to be aware is that whilst it is close to central Paihia, it is not suitable for walking as it is along the main road. We were actually quite happy to be out of the main hub and cottage 4 looks up high over the landscape. We would absolutely stay again so thank you.

Beautiful cottages with amazing views. Stayed for 3 nights with my 2 daughters. Just 5 minutes away from Paihia city center if you want a quieter place to stay. The cottage is very clean and pretty much has everything we needed and more. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a deck where you can sit and relax after a tiring day. We were welcomed by Sylvia when we checked in and she is such a lovely host, very helpful and welcoming. We would love to stay again in the future.
