We booked an accessible room at the Travelodge. On arrival at 2-30 I was greeted by the Manager. A very friendly man who spoke professionally and I explained that I was early. He said no problem. I asked if he had a family room? He instantly changed the room giving me his favourite room number 5. He also allowed me to have extra pillows and my partner later asked for a hair dryer. Not a problem. He also asked us to help ourselves to tea and coffee and milk. He had also been let down by his staff calling in sick. He had been there since 7am. He was there all night and ironing sheets. He was still there next morning. What a Manager 10/10. The hotel and Rio were clean and well maintained. Free parking. Will be back again.

We stayed for one night and ended up sleeping on top of quilt as the sheet and the mattress cover was covered in yellow stains. We would have complained when we left but no one at reception

Met Simon who was helpful and friendly straight away . He let us change in our room even through we weren’t due to till 3pm that afternoon. He gave us tips on what taxis to use and general information about Liverpool . The other 2 members of staff who we saw were friendly too . The room was clean and comfortable. Perfect stay , we will definitely go back . Thanks

Really nice manager and staff great location with nice eating with in walking distance and always helpful with local information with in easy access to the local attractions including a 25 minute taxi ride to antree also nice facilities with a good shower and comfortable beds would recommend

Great price for this Travelodge, the location was ideal for us having travelled from Scotland to Liverpool and then onto St Helen's. The hotel was quiet, the receptionist was super nice and friendly. Room was big and clean.

I stayed here with my 2 year old, it was lovely and quiet.. I accidentally booked an accessible room with 2 single beds, but I needed a double. The staff were very accommodating with this and had it changed for me into a double, thank you!! The beds are comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The hotel was always clean and tidy. You also get discount with your room key on food at the Lymewood pub just across the road, which is great. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for you, especially with children. Easy to get to, nice carvery across the way for tea. Discount for my meal, added bonus! Very pleasant staff, clean and tidy room. No complaints at all.

Very basic and room recently painted and improved . Bed very comfortable . My issue was the pillows and duvet stained and stank of sweat . I could only assume they are not laundered between guests. I may have just been unfortunate . Very understaffed and difficult to find a staff member . With regards to area . Everything you need close by , Starbucks , Asda garage , Lyme wood carvery . All walking distance . I would stay again here but take my own bedding .
