Days Inn by Wyndham Hays

The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. However, we discovered stains on the sheet in the morning on the side we didn't sleep on and there were dead bugs under the bathroom sink. Also not seen until the morning. No towels at the pool. Even though we told the desk person we were going to the pool when we checked in, he did not offer towels. Had to go back and ask for them. Sounds petty, but definitely inconvenient. If we travel thr8ahoun, we will not stay there

When we first arrived we encountered an angry guest who was complaining about bugs in the floor of her room. The manager was not concerned whatsoever. That was our first clue that we should not have booked our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, based off of decent reviews, we had already booked our room through ******* with our one key cash cash and it was non-refundable. Lesson learned. The manager was not friendly at all and the office had a weird smell to it. We got checked in and got to our room and it was noting like the pictures showed online. It was very outdated, musty, and the towels were stained. The sheets appeared clean but looked liked they had been on the bed since the motel was built. We got settled in and went to eat dinner. When we got back there was a gentleman who was staying in the room right next to us camped out with his chair, radio, beer, and phone right at our door having himself a good time. We made our way past and went into our room. It was just not a good atmosphere, the room and motel in general was not clean and it smelled. I would not recommend staying here at all!! I will leave as many reviews as I can so hopefully no one will make the same mistake that we made. I just hate that I spent almost $250 for a room that should have cost $50 if we are being honest!

The rooms have really gone down hill. The bath tubs & showers were old and dirty. The Continental breakfast was out of everything. They didn’t have biscuits, muffins, bread, yogurt, fruit and juice. There was barely any eggs and sausage left. When another guest asked about adding food the lady was rude and said everything is frozen. I can’t put it out frozen. The second day still didn’t have anything. I had two rooms and was locked out of both of them. I waited at the desk for 10-15 minutes before I went to look for someone outside. There was another guest waiting with me that had the same problem. When I found someone he was rude and said I wasn’t even gone that long. Later in the afternoon I asked for more towels and wash cloths. I told the guy at the front desk I had two rooms with and he said I can only give you two towels. The pool was dirty and the water level was very low. The side walk around it was broken and chunks of cement were all around the pool. I have never left a bad review before but the main reason I booked this hotel was for the Continental breakfast and pool. It was very disappointing for me and my family.

This property is only marginal & needs a rehab We were exhausted from a road trip and room was just "adequate."

Room was ok. Found our room, the gap at the bottom of the door was large and let in light and air. Used cigarette butts inside the door. Shower handle was cracked and ready to come off. Shower knob wouldn’t pull all the way up for full shower. Bathroom light flickered. Toilet wouldn’t flush had to take the lid of and move the flapper manually. Bed was small and uncomfortable

Desk clerk very nice and check in went smoothly. Rented 4 rooms. One room the AC didn’t work, another the shower head was broken and tub drained super slow. “Hot” breakfast items were cold (at least could warm up in microwave). Pool was very dirty. Overall we did ok for a quick overtime stay while traveling.
