Our log cabin is conveniently located just minutes from town, yet you feel like you are in the northwoods upon entering. We have a wood burning stove, log furniture within the two bedrooms, and a cute loft that has another full log bed. There is a full kitchen, 1 full bath (bring your own towels), TV with Sling TV (Blue & Orange Package), and wireless internet available. Relax next to a fire in the backyard (lawn chairs provided) in the summer months and enjoy viewing ducks and geese in the small environmental pond behind the cabin. If you wish to go out and about there are many great restaurants nearby, shopping in downtown Hayward, and skiing on the world famous American Birkebeiner Ski Trail. The Hatchery Creek Trailhead, which has lighted trails, is just 2 miles down highway 77 providing access to the Birkie Trail and CAMBA Mountain Biking Trails. There are a few spots where it's a little shallower. For a true sandy beach, head to Hayward City Beach which is less than one mile from the cabin.Q: Does the cabin have good heat?A: Yes it does! We recently upgraded to mini-split heater/AC units. The heating and cooling is simply remote controlled and responds much faster than our previous heating system.Q: Where's the flat sheet on the bed?A: Keeping with the European-style theme, the bed has a duvet. We change and clean ALL linens after every stay and take great pride in our cleanliness. We also have an extra blanket stored if you need it.Q: Is there enough room to park a boat/trailer?A: Yes! The parking area is large enough for several vehicles. If you have a trailer, you can back in park in three different areas. We just ask that you not block anyone else in.Q: Do we have a boat landing?A: No, not at our location however there is a public boat launch about a half mile away. You can launch your boat there and tie it down on one of our docks!
