Have often had a meal in the restaurant over the last 30 years and really enjoyed the food. This was our first stay at Rissington Inn which was great and a convenient stay over for the Kruger Park.

Nice lodge with good accommodation. All staff members are doing their best to make your stay as you want it to be. All is clean , a local drink is been provided and at our leave our car was washed. A wonderful view from in your lodge so you can relax and enjoy

We love to come to Rissington in We went back after 6 years The place is very nice Big rooms Nice nature Good food good price . We were really Very happy Sindele was our guide and help the 5 days we were I The rissington inn. She helped us with everything. The safaris , reserving our table each day, gave recommendations, helped us with the broken luggage. Hope she is still there the day we return. It gave an upgrade to our nice stay thanks to her

We only spent two nights here after having spent almost a week directly in the Kruger National Park. It was just great to be back the civilization, where you could move without being afraid of being eaten alive by a Leopard. A very nice boutique hotel, very good food, nice staff. Very beautiful setting against the backdrop of the Drakensberg mountain chain. We can recommend this hotel.

Another wonderful stay at Rissington Inn. A lovely warm welcome from Chris and all the team. Friendly, helpful staff, great food and a relaxed atmosphere made it a perfect place to recharge after several nights in the Kruger. We particularly love the gardens there and walking around (when it isn't too hot), and there's a great variety of birds to be found (perfect for us!). The fact we keep returning is a testament to how good we think Rissington Inn is. It feels like coming home, we can't wait till we go back again.

Superb! It's not unreasonable to state that the staff who work at the Rissington Inn do everything right. Food is excellent. Service and hospitality are unrivaled. Guest rooms are attractively decorated and include a host of modern amenities. Setting is tranquil. Easy access to Kruger National Park - three gates with 25 minutes or less - is great. Value for money is unprecedented. I've stayed on a number of occasions and will continue to do so when traveling to this corner of South Africa.

We spent three nights here on our first visit to SA. The all-female staff (all the male staff seem to work in the gardens!) are friendly and helpful. The lady in the office was brilliant and created a great itinerary for us for a couple of days, as we had no specific plans and no car. If you have a hire car, would recommend the gorge and Elephant Whispers, the sanctuary. She organised a driver to take us out to various local places, and we had a great time doing this. The room was very comfortable, good wifi, and we loved the outdoor shower, even if the weather was a little chilly while we were there! The restaurant offers a great choice of food, huge portions, and a comprehensive wine/drinks list too. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, where you can see monkeys scampering around and a huge variety of birds. There are a couple of short walking trails. We didn't try the pool, as it was still a bit cold forus. All in all a very positive introduction to SA!

Stayed here for 3 nights bed breakfast and evening meal. Excellent service and friendly happy staff who ensured our stay was relaxing. Early morning safari meant packed breakfast…. Could not fault the choices available. Drinks and snack menu excellent value for money ….4 bottles of wine (yes we went cheapest white ) and 2 cocktails during our stay cost A$85 !!! Menu choices excellent…. Room garden suite was large and private …. Outdoor shower lovely:)

Such a tranquil spot to relax after a busy day of exploring or after a safari in Kruger. Our room was very comfortable with lovely personalized touches. We both enjoyed the freshly baked cookies in the room. The view was so pretty and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Breakfasts and dinners were equally delicious. All the staff were helpful and oh so friendly. We were slightly disappointed that we didn't have time to swim in the enticing pool. As an added bonus, the sunsets were spectacular!
