This “hotel” fronts the sea in a row of similar-looking properties. The first surprise was booking; I found myself speaking to a woman in Hamburg whose command of English was not great, especially when I had to spell my name and email address, along with confusion about what “breakfast included” meant. She said it was but it turned out not to be. This hotel doesn’t have a reception, you have to go to an Agency office near the harbour to pick up a key card. Breakfast is served not at the “hotel” but at another hotel a couple of hundred yards away. My room (Albers) was terrible in that it had a steeply sloping ceiling, meaning I could only stand up in half the room. Bathroom was good. Rooms at the front of the “hotel” have a good view.
