Negative points: - The following was NEVER indicated; I happened to read it on a note in the apartment: - There is no cleaning service during your stay, and you have to pay €40 per hour extra for it. Should I also charge €40 per hour for the extra time I’ve spent? Worst service I’ve ever had. - You have to dispose of and separate your own trash. - The lock is very cheap, and it's unclear how to set it properly so you know it’s locked. There’s only a small chain attached to it. - There are no cameras anywhere, which doesn’t give a sense of security. - You’re not allowed to make noise between 10 PM and 7 AM, not even to take a shower! Other negative points: - The toilet is crooked and gets wet every time I shower. In the picture, the toilet was straight, which would make showering much easier. I filed a complaint about this and received the response, "The apartment should match the picture we provided," which didn’t help me at all. - After showering or lying in bed for a few hours, I get way too warm. There’s no air conditioning, the window didn’t seem to open (I didn’t want to push too hard for fear of breaking it and losing my €200 deposit!), and while there is a fan, it doesn’t help much and is quite noisy. - The bathroom cabinets are very loud. - The water from the shower doesn’t get very warm. - The knob to switch between the shower and regular faucet doesn’t work well. If you bump into it slightly, which happens in such a small shower, you’ll spend time fiddling with it to set it correctly again. - There’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom, so I have to do my hair elsewhere. - There’s no trash bin in the bathroom. - There are only two large towels and two for the floor; an extra one for the toilet would have been nice. - Check-in isn’t until 3 PM (the latest I’ve ever experienced), and check-out MUST be before 10 AM (the earliest I’ve ever experienced). - On September 1st, they had already deducted the €200 deposit, and on September 8th, they attempted to charge it again, even though I had already paid. Moreover, I left everything in good condition, so I found it very inappropriate for them to attempt to charge me without informing me or providing a valid reason! Fortunately, after contacting them, I got my money back within a few hours. Still, it was stressful to deal with. - There is no service desk where you can ask questions; everything must be done by phone, and you’re not helped immediately, of course. - Someone tried to enter my room at 9:45 PM on a Wednesday while I was inside. It was probably a mistake, as I heard footsteps go one floor down, and then a door closed. Still, it didn’t feel right, especially when traveling alone in a foreign country. - All in all, I spent a lot of extra time and effort just to stay here. Should I also charge €40 per hour for all the extra trouble I had to go through? Other negative point, unrelated to the hotel: - At the McDonald’s in Kamppi, I was harassed by a guy on a Saturday morning at 8:00 AM
