Stayed with a friend for one night during to a concert in the Ice Hall. Location wise perfect hotel. It was easy to use public transportation to and from hotel. Only few minutes away from the Ice Hall by foot. Breakfast was normal hotel brekkie without any fancy stuff. Believe they ran out of cutlery as the ones we had looked like something from the 90’s. But: I don’t even remember the last time I was in a hotel room with no kettle. Which was a pity as making a cup of tea or coffee was not possible. Even basic hostel is better equipped so didn’t even cross my mind to check the equipment for the room.. Stayed in a room with queen size bed with a friend. Unfortunately didn’t get separate beds. Also, if you have only one bed, bedside table is a must on both sides! And room would easily fit king size. The lamps didn’t work properly in the room and not sure if the socket next to the bed was safe as sparks flared when plugging in the charger. Noticed these issues in the night so didn’t have time nor energy to contact reception. All in all, served the purpose, but didn’t really feel relaxed when checking out.

OK hotel, ok location, breakfast basic, room normal, quite old hotel, but still okay. We visit in coldplay consert, and we only sleep the room, we walking the olympicstadion, few restaurants nearby, hesburger, pizzahut etc, --＞ look google-maps, when you in room. Parking is yard, but not so manu parkingplases. Total =ok hotel.

We just stayed at this hotel for five nights because we attended an event in Helsinki. Scandic Meilahti was an excellent choice and we were very happy with our stay.. The location was excellent. We came with our car and left it at a parking lot of the hotel (22 euros/ night) and used trams to move around. The standard room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well. But the best was the staff. . We want to give special thanks to Robert at the reception, ALWAYS helping everybody with smile. Also a young girl on Wednesday night was very helpful and most of all, friendly. And special thanks for the personal at the breakfast. so smiling and helpful, ALL of them serving us these five days with just a beautiful attitude. Hope to stay there again! (the only negative thing was a conversation between the person at the reception and a client talking negatively of other clients. It was not professional and should not happen. Even if you think that no-one is listening, someone can).

I stayed in this hotels for two nights in March 2024. When firstly arriving to the room, it looked good. Later on, I noticed some major problems. Here's them listed. 1. The bathtub was dirty. There was some dust and previus customer's hair on the bathtub. 2. There was someone's drawing in the wall next to my bed that I noticed when trying to sleep. 3. The couch on our room was bad, as I sat on it, the mattress slided away from the couch. Given that I don't weigh that much, I just worry about what will happen of a heavier person sits on it. 4. The breakfast was very simple, as most of the warm items tasted like some microwave stuff. 5. The customer service varied, with some people not willing to talk at all, and some people giving good service. 6. The room wasn't very soundproof; as I was trying to sleep, a long set of bangs was heard from the upper floors, and it was very loud. However, it wasn't all bad, it had a good location and lots of transit options to arrive to hotel, and with two superstores just next to it, one in the same building. Overall, I recommend other hotels in this city instead, even if being more expensive. Sokos Hotel Tripla, for example, is way better than this. Also, upgrading to superior room is not worth it here, as there is little differencd between them and even the superior room is in this bad condition.

Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was modest and there were not much fresh choices. The girl in the bistro was rude and the food was average. Location was good for the working at the hospital. Overall, pretty expensive for such a basic hotel.
