Amazing host and overall great place to stay. Rooms are new and spotless. I’ve loved the small details and how everything is thought over with care by the hosts: beach towel, bath robe, bottle opener, automatic night light, hair dryer, etc. The quality of bedding and towels is superb. Free tea/coffee, water and cookies in the room. The breakfasts were delicious! Great coffee, tasty full English, as well as fruit, yogurts, pastries, and cereal. Couldn’t wish for more. Great price/quality value, can only say good things about this place. Would highly recommend!

Just book it Mandalay is a short walk from the town centre of Helston a lovely small Cornish town, itself a few minutes drive from the coast. Staying here you’re well situated with good travel links for all of the region’s tourist attractions. Accomodation itself is quite and peaceful with no noise from the local area and kept immaculately clean by the hosts who are extremely friendly and welcoming, in addition the room provided all the amenities you could need for a short break. Breakfast was also a winner, a good quality full English, what more could you ask for? Fresh baked bread and pastries I hear you say? Well you’re catered for there too. If you hadn’t guessed my partner and I had a fantastic stay. Was her first visit to the area and I’m glad to say she’s pleased to go back. Welcoming and friendly. Rooms very clean and well equipped with tea/coffee, toiletries and hair dryer. Nicely decorated with attention to detail. Breakfast freshly cooked with a wide choice of cereals, fruit, etc. Mandaley is a short (20-30 minutes) drive to many local tourist sites such as Lizard Point, St Michael's Mount. Nearby there are several pubs, cafes and fastfood places, as well as supermarkets.

There is a warm welcome at Mandeley. All three rooms are well decorated and comfortable. Easily accessible, as the rooms are on the ground floor. The breakfast room is up three steps. Whilst we were there there was a disabled lady who managed them with a little difficulty. The breakfast offers a good selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals as well as cooked Full English. The bread is home made. Fresh milk is provided daily for your room. The shower offers a good amount of power. Exiting the property is a little tricky. We have an Auris and there was little room, either side, to get through.

Our hosts, Birgitt and Paul made us feel very welcome from start to finish of our stay. They were very friendly and welcoming and even suggested some good places to visit that we didn’t know about. The breakfast was amazing, there was fresh orange juice, home made granola, a good selection of fruit and lovely Greek yoghurt. There was also a full English breakfast of your choice that was freshly cooked and plenty of tea, coffee and toast and a good selection of jams plus marmalade and honey. The room was always spotlessly clean and very comfortable, as was the bathroom and the shower was as hot as you wanted it and the beautiful white towels were so soft and fluffy, I forgot to ask Birgitt what her secret was! There was also tea and coffee and fresh milk and water left in the room every day. There is a nice garden at the back with a bench and table to sit at too, and of course we could not forget Murphy the cockapoo, who was also very friendly and very well behaved. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a central base in southern Cornwall.

came for 2 nights with family for a trip to cornwall. both hosts, brigitt and paul were incredible and very welcoming. beds and room were comfortable as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate factories in the room. rooms were clean and tidy every morning! parking is a bit tight however not an issue for basic vehicles. breakfast is delicious with pastries, full english and fresh fruit. Thank You!!
