The check-in process was extremely frustrating. Upon arrival, the agent asked for my reservation number without even a basic greeting. Typically, they would at least say hello and ask for the last name. The room I was initially assigned had a malfunctioning AC, and when I requested to switch rooms, the agent was unhelpful, claiming they were sold out and simply shrugged off my request. Despite the parking lot being nearly empty when I arrived in the early evening, I eventually managed to move to another room. The next day, while showering, I noticed the shower curtain liner was disgustingly filthy, coated with layers of scum, scale, and soap residue, along with several suspicious black marks that resembled mold or worse. Adding to the discomfort, the shower was also clogged, forcing me to endure a dirty bathtub. The washcloths provided were as thin as toilet paper and urgently need replacement. To compound matters, my car was vandalized in the parking lot. Someone stole the cap from my driver's side mirror. There was a complete lack of greetings at this hotel, no recognition of Marriott's guest status despite my Gold membership. I wasn't even offered a bottle of water upon check-in, let alone any room upgrades or perks. I actively avoid staying at this location due to consistently miserable experiences. Unfortunately, the nearby Hampton Inn where I typically stay was fully booked. I strongly recommend management stay at the Hampton Inn themselves to understand what quality service and a clean hotel truly look like.
