Wow, wow, wow where do I start! We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Nana Princess. We were greeted by a smiling Chryssa (excuse me if I have spelt wrong) sat down and given a glass of Prosecco, water, fresh lemonade and a little personalised gift, which I will keep a secret so as not to spoil it first any other visitors. We were taken out on the balcony and shown the resort. Once the necessary paperwork was completed we were shown to a golf cart, shown round the resort and then to our room, with our luggage. Chryssa showed us round our room, which was very helpful as there is a lot of electrical items including the curtains and lots of lights. A large bottle of water, bottle of red wine and some sweets awaited us. There are two restaurants a fish one that also offers a sashimi and sushi menu with a view over the sea and watching the sun set. The meat in point mostly offers steaks, which are one of the most tender steaks I have ever eaten. We did find the menus a bit limited when you are staying for two weeks at all the restaurants, rooms and beach. Therefore wewent to Old Town Malia a few times for a different menu where there are lots of traditional Greek tavernas and definitely worth a visit. It was a 15 euro taxi ride each way. Just ask reception to arrange a taxi and they will arrange a chauffeur company which is the same price as the normal taxis. We upgraded from bed and breakfast to half board and think it was definitely worth it and would recommend this. We would have a starter, soup and main course never having room for pudding. All the items marked with a DA were included within the menu that you are given, which is 95% of the menu. There is a huge choice for breakfast. I have never stayed at a hotel that offers 25 different types of bread alone. You are greeted with many smiley faces one of which was Maria and shown to a table of your choice with tables covered with lovely white table clothes that are changed every setting and again I have never seen such care being taken to lay a table in a uniformed way. The waiters and waitresses work so hard quite often the same staff are seen at the evening meal and then up early to serve breakfast, which isn’t always appreciated by some guests when they can’t even say ‘please’ and ‘thankyou’ and appreciate the fantastic job the staff do. You are also serenaded by a violinist whilst you have breakfast which is lovely. Unfortunately we had problems with our room which came to light the next morning after we arrived and was immediately addressed with understanding by Angeliki and we were moved. Our room was beautiful we had a gym, separate lounge, huge bathroom with steam room, double sink, bath, large shower and a hairdryer which can be found in the draw. The bathroom even had a TV in the mirror. Outside was a large patio and an infinity pool. Be warned the patio does get very hot as does the handles to the steps. The rooms are so well designed as inste
