Sundance Apartments & Suites

No reviews in years was a puzzler? But, likely due to the majority of people staying as guests being from the Netherlands (TUI europe) and this last week - only two sets of visible UK visitors (ourselves included). As far as location, standard of accommodation, standard of service, Pool area - couldn't fault them! The place was spotless /nipping clean, the staff all courteous / attentive, any small issues quickly dealt with (and I mean - MINOR, as a samll issue with my external transfer and they helped me immensly). An absolute credit to their employers and themselves, really. Day to day, getting to know each and everyone, poolside or passing reception - each person spoke to just had a great sense of humour and showed extreme professionalism throughout our stay. All seemed genuinely interested in getting to know you and wanted you to have a great stay. This service would be enviable, by many great hotel chains we've visited worldwide and would we go back... in a heartbeat for the relaxed poolside vibe my wife and I where after. One small thing that came to mind, would be likely the pool a little small for maybe groups or larger families, but they still accommodated this well as most people just timed in and out the pool themselves when it quietened down... the whole poolside theme was relaxing really. We had a 2 bed suite and amazing, for a family of 4... (older girls), everything we needed and furnished very modern. Food / drink was lovely, something for everyone... they stay with their image and works well. A tad on the pricier side, but fair when as we do... weigh up the service and convenience we appreciate in running the poolside to its standard. Hey, we are on holiday and everyone sets a budget - but happy to blow this if having a great time. Like I say... we'd happily return and location is perfect - as we know the area well and are not too bothered being away from the beach. We love the Villages, having visited before - but got to say - Keep up the great work guys! 100% great 10 day holiday!

Lovely setting, well kept gardens. Very nice apartment, large rooms, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view from our balcony. Apartment serviced daily, clean towels etc. Pleasant pool area, plenty of loungers. Difficult access because of many steps not ideal for the older guest.

Landed in Crete 11/4/23 for a family wedding.It was cold, 11 degrees and raining ! Arrived at Sundance Apartments.First impressions looked good,even in the horrid weather.Chronis,the operations manager,gave us a warm welcome.Super fast check in,showing us a map,so we could get our bearings,thentook us to our Studio Apartmentwhere a lovely surprise waited.An upgrade to a 1 bedroomed apartment.Chronis racked up the air-con to 25,to stop me shivering and left us to unpack. Wow! what a fantastic apartment.Everything brand new,touch to open cupboards and wardrobes,fully stocked kitchen,Fab shower area with separate sink area.Great view from the sit out balcony.The pool and gardens were just wonderful. Next day the weather changed and for the rest of the celebrations,thankfully.Warm and sunny. Ladies at the breakfast pool area were lovely..Have the huge bowl of Honey and Yoghurt for breakfast,enough for4! We went to a few local resorts to meet up with other guests,but we definatley chose the best.Highly Recomended.

We stayed in Sundance for the fifth time. And this time was even the most amazing one. The hospitality of the staff is incredible and the warm welcome you get makes you always feel like coming home. Everyone is kind and always smiling. You can ask really everything. Nothing is to much. It is a really nice place to stay for couples like us, but certainly also for families with children or teenagers. There is an extra swimming pool for the little children, a children's play garden, ice creams, ... Nice to see the teenagers playing and swimming in the swimming pool the whole day. We stayed in a bay view apartment with a fantastic view from our terrace on the very nice Sundance garden (with an organic vegatable part) and also on the wonderful bay. Early in the mornings, during the day and in the evenings as well, the view stays magnificent... The apartment has a kitchenette with a silent fridge, two tv-screens, two very good silent working airconditioning units, an extra bedroom with excellent big beds, a really nice walking in shower, two terraces ... and is very spacy. Every other day the apartment was cleaned properly, beds got new sheets and there were new towels available. (even for the swimming pool) It is also a very quiet place to sleep. Although you are very close to the living Koutouloufari-village with lots of restaurants and bars, as soon as you enter in the evening in the hotelarea everything is quiet and peaceful. An excellent place to relax and refill your batteries! We also took our breakfast in the hotel. Every morning there was a big choice of bread, eggs, cheese, tomatoes, meat, fruit, yoghurts, seeds, coffee, tea, ... Even a fresh orange juice is easily made on a simple request. Also nice is that they make lots of food during the day, such as fresh fruit, all kinds of salads, burgers, pizza, ... Even when you have a lazy day they bring it to you at your sunbed at the pool (in an eco-friendly package). Last but not least I also would like to mention all the excellent excursion-tips you get from the very kind Chronis! He really knows every corner of the island and he always is ready to help you planning your day trips. Now even for the 5th time we came into places we didn't see before and there are still places we did not see yet... He is also always prepared to make the reservations for the rental car, the scooters, the restaurants, ... . And always with a smile... So, we had again an excellent stay and I am almost sure we will go back to this amazing place! I really recommend it!!

Was looking forward to stay as apartments looked beautiful. Manager and staff were brilliant in resolving an issue that they had with some double booking via their reservation company, sorted despite it being almost 2am then next day Chronis offered us a brilliant single bedroom apartment that we reckon must have had biggest and best balcony in the hotel. Couldn't fault the staff at the hotel who pulled out all the stops to save our family holiday as had relatives arriving a few days later and staying at a nearby hotel. Room was beautiful, bed huge and lovely, kids even said sofa bed was very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were really good, very little overflow if you use the mat supplied. Kitchen area well equipped. Thank you Chronis and all your staff for everything. Would not hesitate to return as this hotel suited us perfectly.

We had a great stay thanks to Chronis and his team! All the hotel staff are just really nice! Apartments are comfortable and well equiped. Hotel is well kept, comfortable beds and sunbeds with enough sun umbrellas. Location in Koutouloufari couldn't be better. Peacefully away from Chersonissos, but close enough for our teenage daughters to go out at night. Great choice of restaurants when you step outside the hotel.
