This was an amazing stay. The accommodation has great views, as does the pool and dining/bar area. A short walk from some quiet little bars and restaurants. We stayed half board, and the food was absolutely stunning, I ordered the same starter every night it was so good, while my wife tried the others. The restaurant was popular with locals and others not staying at the hotel. We fully recommend staying here. There is a steep bank to the rooms, but I'm sure the owner would arrange a car to the top if needed. Regards the staff they couldn't do enough for us and always had a smile, service was outstanding from arriving to leaving.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! The service was outstanding—everyone was so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and the private jacuzzi made it absolutely perfect for a relaxing holiday in April. The pool area is lovely and very well maintained, offering a great spot to unwind. Breakfast is served à la carte instead of a buffet, and every dish we ordered was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We also dined at the hotel restaurant and were thoroughly impressed—highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience at Crete Blue Boutique Hotel in Koutouloufari during our babymoon! There is honestly not a single point of criticism we could give. Georgios and his entire team made us feel like a part of their family from the moment we arrived. We also had the privilege of celebrating Easter and Easter Monday with them, and experiencing how the Greeks celebrate this special time. Being welcomed into Georgios’ family celebrations made our stay even more unforgettable. • Rooms: 10/10 – Spotlessly clean, fresh towels every day, spacious, and overall very well maintained. • Swimming Pool: 10/10 – Beautiful, clean loungers, plenty of space between beds, and a peaceful atmosphere. • Restaurant: 10/10 – Everything served is fresh and clearly prepared with love and great attention to flavor. • Breakfast: 10/10 – Definitely try the pancakes with Nutella, a must! • Staff & Service: 12/10 – Everyone is incredibly friendly and truly treats you like family. In short: the place to be for a wonderful, relaxing vacation in Crete! We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our babymoon and can’t wait to come back.

The Creta Blue is situated on the Eastern outskirts of Koutouloufari. You can reach it by car or smaller vehicle and of course by walking from the main village. The view it gives over the Cretan Sea is lovely. The swimming pool has an infinity view over olive trees to the bay. Comfortable loungers and seats and pool towels are provided. The restaurant is 5 star rated on Trip Advisor and merits that with good authentic Greek food on offer as well as more familiar fare like steak and pasta. It has a good wine offering as well as cocktails and beer. Excellent cleanliness. Comfortable bed and good, large shower. The greatest praise goes for the helpfulness and sheer warmth and friendliness of the staff. English is spoken well by George, the owner, who sorted our transfer issue so well and kindly. You need to be able to climb the gradient of the mountain the hotel is built on so I would advise anyone with mobility issues to phone the hotel to see which suites may be suitable for them. We would like to return there. We miss the warmth of both the climate and people now we are back in England.

We’ve just spent 8 lovely days at this wonderful small hotel. We stayed in an adults only suite which was beyond amazing. Massive comfortable bed, enormous bathroom with twin sinks a large shower and separate bathtub. The photos on the website cannot do it justice! The whole place is kept spotless, the views are amazing and the level of service are the best we’ve known in Greece. We went for the half board option and the breakfast and dinner were of superb quality. However, the main attribute of Creta Blue are the staff. From Mary, our room cleaner to George the owner everyone is one team working so hard for their guests. Special mentions for Maria and Sofia working tirelessly from before breakfast to after lunch smiling and chatting to guests like old friends. Lavinia, the sommelier whose knowledge of wines was second to none and all the other evening staff in the restaurant (too many names to remember, sorry!) everybody was amazing. Most people we spoke to were returning guests, which speaks volumes. Quite simply the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. Thank you everyone at Creta Blue

We did a lot of research ahead finding our wedding venue. We had no prior experience of staying/visiting Creta Blue, but from the moment visited the hotel and met George, I just knew we'd found somewhere very special. We got married end of October 2024. Everything in everyway was above our expections. We didn't have a wedding planner, as we wanted to keep costs to a minimum, George was our wedding planner and made everything so simple and easy. We really valued his openess and honesty from the beginning. It's not just George, we want to thank, but the rest of his superb team at Creta Blue. Each one of them provide a personal and brilliant service every single day. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but it's these incredible people, that make this place head and shoulders above others. We had the most amazing wedding. It was everything and more. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly. I'm so glad our guests were able to sample the Creta Blue experience. We'll be back in 2025 and will continue to return for many more years. Creta Blue has a special place our hearts. Thank you for everything.

We have just returned from Crete/Creta Blue and our only regret is that we did not book a longer stay. We stayed at one of the suites with a semi-private pool i.e. shared by 4 suites only. Both the pool and the suite were immaculately clean and kept that way all week. We had dinner at the Blue Moon restaurant on a number of occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Special mention to Lavinia for her hospitality, guidance and help. Breakfast was great, not your typical English fry up but a nice choice including eggs of all varieties and refreshing fruit options with Greek Yoghurt etc. Again a special mention to Lavinia and also Sofia. Koutouloufari is a short walk downhill which has plenty of places to eat and drink and we found the local people to be charming. What seemed a longer walk back to the hotel uphill, but not really a problem as not too steep and only 10 minutes. We had a very relaxing time and will return next year albeit for a bit longer.

I stayed in this hotel when visiting friends in Piskopiano, the little village next door. We had a lovely room with the bed upstairs and located on the hill, with fantastic views to the sea, Chersonissos and surroundings. Also got a nice view on the beautiful pool area. Breakfast was served in this area as well, and cooked on order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants of Koutouloufari are pretty close to the hotel, and there is plenty of choice. Have excellent memories at Creta Blue Suites and would highly recommend. Not for people who have problems walking the steep hills though ;-)
