Came across the pub after being let down by one of the other local hostelries. So pleased that happened as we had a great night in the place. The staff are busy but always cheery and the food is excellent. The place is small, cosy but excellently run. Will definitely book again. Thank you

Great pub with great selection of ale and pub food. Food was promptly delivered and was of good quality and plentiful for the price charged. It was busy on a Monday night showing it’s a pub for locals as well as visitors. Good value for money and friendly staff

Have just popped in for Sunday dinner in the evening. We did ring to check what time it was served until and although the Sunday roast normally was all gone earlier in the day they kindly kept some saved for us . Very much a local pub we were made to feel very welcome and my young daughter was treated wonderfully , will definitely stop by again if we are in the area .

We had a great time visiting this pub, the food is great! they served 12pm till 9pm all day which is ideal as the other pub in the village stops serving for a few hours before dinner service. The food was all freshly made and good quality. They had the fire on with some Fleetwood mack playing which made the atmosphere really laidback and cozy. We found the selection of drinks great and the price was reasonable. They had live music on the following weekend which we would have went to however we were returning back home the following day. We would definitely make a trip back to the area specifically to stay in the Black Bull's hotel.

I highly recommend the Black Bull! I have stayed here in summer and again recently in the winter period. The pub is a super ideal getaway if you want to spend some time in the countryside. It’s super cosy, the food was very tasty and the guesthouse is extremely comfortable and has everything you need!

We had an amazing night at Black Bull Hotel Bellingham last night for our Christmas meal. Food was amazing! And service and atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you so much to Cayley, Marcus and their fantastic staff. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere nice and friendly to go for a meal

Beautiful food and good portion sizes. Very tasty . We had the black bull beef burger and chicken burger. Both came with homemade chips,onion rings and coleslaw. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely cosy pub. Would highly recommend it you are passing or in the area.

We visited here last year and had a lovely meal so decided to go back this year when we returned back to the village for a holiday. We had another amazing meal here last week. The food was 10/10 and we could not fault it. The bar staff were all extremely attentive and looked after us. The pub had a great atmosphere as was hosting local pool competition, the locals are so friendly and welcoming! Both times we have ate here have been spot on we will definitely be returning when back in the area, definitely give it a try!

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere, great food and drinks. We stayed one night in the hotel. The rooms were spotless, clean and had everything we needed. An amazing open fire down in the pub, could have sat there for hours will defiantly be returning!
