Serendipity Lake - Hikkaduwa recensioner

This is the best place we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip. The villa only has two guest rooms so it is so quiet and you are sharing the beautiful pool with only 2 other people at the most. The room is perfect, so luxurious, with views out over the lagoon. The food at the restaurant is divine. The villa is a lovely and leisurely hour walk up the beach or quick cheap tuk tuk ride to the main drag of Hikkaduwa. Highly recommend!!!! We will be back.

We spent 10 amazing days on the Lake on this Villa, very beautiful and well-groomed territory with views of the Lake. Quiet. They met Dawn. To the ocean go minutes 10. Morning delicious breakfast. I want to express my gratitude to the administrator of Chataranga. Always gave information on vacation, accompanied us to the temple. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy the silence, beauty.

Beautiful place, good breakfast. Kind and polite host, very smiling. There are only two rooms in the villa and it's great. We felt like we were in solitude. A very private place. It's just us and nature. We preferred to take a tuk-tuk to Hikkaduwa Beach. It was fast, it didn't bother us.

A most beautiful property on the Lake. As of late 2023 only two units on many acres of forest (palms, cinnamon, mango etc). The views from the room, the pool and throughout the property were pristine. Birds and animals including chipmunks, mongoose, swimming lizards, kingfishers, herons, eagles etc. The quiet and privacy. The attention to detail and maximizing both the views and privacy was well evident. With highly personalised and professional service, Chaturang greeted us and took care of our every request. The Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. Very clean and diligently maintained. Stayed only two nights. Highly recommended.

We spent the most incredible 6 days in this little piece of paradise. Despite the incredible surroundings, the stunning, well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet villa, what really made this break so memorable was our host Jay and his team. I have never met a more hard-working, kind, caring, helpful man. To be greeted by his smiling face every morning was just everything. He did all he could to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much and we enjoyed chatting with him and hearing stories of his life after dinner in the evening. He helped us with trips out, planning our itinerary, arranging treatments in the villa and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The meals were so tasting and as a vegetarian I was well catered for. The view from the lake was breathtaking and we even had a water monitor swim past every morning. Some incredible memories made. Thank you for everything you did for us. We will be back!

We travelled thought the iceland and stayed in multiple hotels, but this one was THE BEST!! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful! Ahmed and Nayana made our vacation the best! They helped us to board the train, made coconut coctais and fruit plates for us, cooked the breakfast according to our preferences😍 The hotel itself is new, clean and has a large territory with the swimming pool. There are only two rooms in it, we booked the Superior King Suite which has a large bathroom with 2 showers. And the 2nd room was empty, so we had the feeling like we are the only people living in this paradise ❤️ I definitely want to come back and stay here forever

Enjoyed 2 days of absolute blissful peace. The view from both the room and the pool was gorgeous and the sounds of nature so relaxing. The food was great. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Overall it’s a great place to getaway from our hectic routines and will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Sri Lanka.

What an amazing property and stay! Wish we had longer to enjoy more of the beautiful views and absolutely incredible infinity pool overlooking the lake! Not to mention the food is sooo delicious and fresh and the host is super responsive with great recs for the area as well!
