The property was very clean and very comfortable. The management was over the top welcoming. I will absolutely stay there again! I would absolutely recommend this property. It is such a joy to see business owners care about the product that they are selling. This property is a must stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

This is our second time staying here and we had a blast again. The setup is great for our yearly family reunion, the owners are so sweet, the location is great for walking into Hill City for meals and the recent remodel looks great! The beds are comfy and the place is clean. Can’t wait for next time.

The owners are wonderful and make lovely coffee in the morning. This a great location for a first time tourist to go on adventure in any direction. So many attractions so close. We will definitely return. Thank you for taking care of all of us!

Amazing place with amazing owners!!! Super nice people own this place and helped us out immensely with downloading maps and learning the trails in the area. They offered great recommendations on food and provided us with a great memory filled weekend that has us wanting to plan another trip to stay there again.

The room was clean and smelled great! There were plenty of towels. The beds were comfy!! The owners were SO nice! I got an email a few days before our stay telling us to have a safe trip! It was within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. It was just an all round nice place!

The Latern Inn was very cute and a good location. The owner was accomodating and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Highly recommend and would definetly stay here again if passing through the area. Enjoyed it very much.

A very comfortable and relaxed place to stay in Hill City. Great location for any activity you want to see/do in the Black Hills. The rooms were neat and clean and I loved the charging port on the night stand. The owners are wonderful and full of great information about the area. You will feel like a part of the family when you stay here.

Very clean rooms!! Bed comfortable. Wanted something central and Hill City fit the bill. Would stay again. Nice area. Thanks for everything. Hosts very accommodating and willing to work with us when changes came up unexpectedly. Thanks again!

Great little hidden gem of an inn located in a quiet town in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Family owned and run. The owners were wonderful and welcoming. We will be returning here on our next pass through South Dakota. Love the peaceful environment by a little creek.
