Took a family trip to the Black Forest and stayed at the Nature Titisee hotel. The entire family had 5 rooms (14 people). This place is excellent for travel with family. Location is excellent to explore the black forest area. the hotel is very conformable. Rooms are spacy, all with a view to the lake. Breakfast is very nice. Staff is accommodating. Highly recommended for families travelling in the area!

We stayed for 5 days in mid July 2023 in the Nature hotel in Titisee. We booked a lake view apartment and the view from the balcony didn't disappoint, but be aware that there is no privacy on the balcony. The furniture was partially new and partially old, certainly not as nice and stylish as presented on the website. The bathroom was out of fashion with shower curtain. We were offered to change room, but to no better. During our stay the atmosphere in the hotel was youth hostel like and international. In our opinion the price of the room was highly exaggerated for the quality of the room. Only one of the three houses offers an elevator. Nice breakfast though.

Let’s start with the good: The apartment was exceptionally clean! Also breakfast was good! Where we found to be room for improvement was the basic kitchen amenities. First we had to get a box with kitchen supplies but the pans and pots were not clean. Also lots of things weren’t provided like a cutting board and proper knives. Also at the price point I would have expected salt/pepper to be included. Some of the staff member were less helpful than others. During check in I felt the helpfulness and friendliness were really lacking. Simple questions like where we could get groceries and such were answered with a sigh and a general wave of the hand in the supermarket’s direction. Not really helpful. Other staff member were friendly and kind though! All in all we felt that the price point did not match the experience we had. The general vibe of the apartment, the squeaky beds and kitchen lay out certainly did not translate to a €300 + price per night.

Belle grande chambre avec vue sur le lac de Titisee, très propre et confortable. Excellent petit déjeuner avec un beau choix salé/sucré. Nous avons diné au Boutique-Hotel Alemannenhof, situé 300 m en contrebas. Le repas était excellent, mais le serveur limite désagréable. Je lui avais demandé de nous laisser le temps de boire nos cocktails tranquillement, avant de lancer les plats et j'ai eu droit à une litanie sur le nombre de tables qu'il avait à gérer.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Zimmer (wir hatten zwei Appartments) waren groß und gut. Der Ausblick auf den See war natürlich toll. Leider waren die Betten eine Qual, da sie bei der kleinsten Bewegung gequitscht oder geknarzt haben. Das hat einiges an Schlaf gekostet. Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug, und die Kofferschlepperei in den 3. Stock war sehr anstrengend. Für ältere Leute mit schwerem Koffer kann das eine größere Herausforderung sein. Der Frühstücksraum erstreckt sich über 3 Teile, einer davon im Flur. Dadurch war morgens immer viel Trubel, da neben den Frühstücksgästen auch die anderen Gäste durch diesen Flur laufen. Dadurch wirkte alles etwas ungemütlich und hektisch. Das Frühstück selbst war gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Ein Übel war es, dass es nur eine einzige Kaffeemaschine gibt, und man davor eigentlich immer anstehen musste. Daher: Erst alles andere Essen holen, und dann erst am Kaffee anstehen. Es gibt nicht genug Parkplätze für alle Gäste am Hotel. Man kann an einem anderen Hotel parken, wenn alles voll ist. Das sind ca. 200 Meter zu Fuß. Kein Problem bei gutem Wetter, ansonsten etwas blöd.
