Riverside Hotel In Saigon recensioner

Excellent, traditional colonial style hotel. Old fashioned cumbersome bathtub shower, but otherwise all was perfect. Responsive, efficient and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet, generous drinking water supplies. I would stay here again.

Request late, check out to 1 o'clock. But the counter said only give me 15 minutes to12:15 noon. The night duty staff told me and not very good friendly talking.

Our stay in Riverside Hotel was memorable. The staff are accomidating. The food during breakfast is delicious. The location is good because you can see the saigon river at the rooftop. Then, you can have an early walk in the morning at the Saigon river since its just across the hotel. Highly recommended.

best location in hcm, in front of ben bach dang, just a few mins walk to nguyen hue walking area. from airport you should pay only vnd around 150 to 200k depending on travelling hour for taxi but not much. hotel upgraded me the room thanked to them.

Very comfortable bed and friendly staff.  Clean bedroom and bathroom. Only negative would be that the restaurant on level four is overpriced and food was average.  I paid $12 AUD for a 100ml glass of wine!

Great location literally across the street from the ferry if you’re planning on taking a lil trip away from Saigon.

This is an old hotel located along Saigon river. It is a value for money accommodation with excellent location, surrounding hotels are 3 to 5 times the price. Frankly speaking, breakfast is so so but the room is spacious and clean

The doorman, the bed making staff, and the front desk staff were fine. The doorman in particular was always smiling and pleasant. The problem was the restaurant staff and the maintenance staff. First, the maintenance staff was a small, short-haired man with glasses. First of all, he never smiled. Right after I checked in after a long trip, the battery of safety box in the room was dead and I couldn't use it, but he didn't even say sorry, and when I asked how to use it, he seemed annoyed. Also, even though I was tired and resting in my room after 6pm, he was vacuuming the hallway in front of my room, so I got up and went out to the hallway because it was too noisy, but he didn't even say sorry. Next, the restaurant staff. They didn't smile or greet me at the breakfast venue where you start a new day. Even when I greeted them, they didn't return the greeting. I've never experienced hotel staff that make you feel so bad in the morning. It's a big problem that they can't say good morning with a smile at the breakfast venue where you start a new day. The restaurant staff and the young staff were very smiling and pleasant. But the cook in particular was the worst. There was no hospitality mindset, which is important for hotel staff, or rather as a person. The next day after I told the hotel about it, only one staff member improved. The cook was the worst. Hopefully it will be improved next time.
