Happy Life Grand Hotel & Sky Bar recensioner

Very well located, walking distance to many touristic places. Delicious breakfast and nice swimming pool. The only down side was that our room was on M floor and it was very noisy because it was right on top of the front desk and the entrance.

Fabulous hotel in Ho Chi Minh City with great places of interest nearby. The staff is very welcoming and polite; the rooms are very clean and of adequate size. Breakfast offers many different options. I recommend this hotel!

Overpriced in my opinion. The room smelled of mold every time we would go back to the room as the ac turn off when the keycard is not inserted.

On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The breakfasts were a delightful highlight, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. However, there was an overpowering smell of perfume in the reception hallway that was off-putting. Additionally, I noticed an unpleasant sewage odor in my room, which detracted from my overall comfort. The noise level was also quite disruptive, making it difficult to relax. Lastly, the pillows were not very comfortable, affecting my sleep quality. Given these issues, I don't think I would choose to stay here again.

The bar staff were fantastic, and the drinks were top-notch. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, including delicious Vietnamese dishes. Overall, the Happy Life Grand Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a great location makes it a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

I've stayed at happy life grand hotel and skybar on 3 different occasions , the staff , service , food and amenities are great...Jade at reception always makes us feel welcome and helps us where she can...Love this place and its so close to ben thanh , new underground subway and many foodf outlets very close ...next time I'm in HCMC / SAI GON district 1 I will always stay here ...Breakfast is always great too ..view from the rooftop bar and outdoor pool is amazing 👏 👍🏻 CAM ON

Nice hotel good location, we had one of the suites for a couple of days and it was well furnished and decent size. If you are a stickler for western breakfast you might want to skip the hotel breakfast and eat outside its was leaning heavily towards the Asian side (perfectly understandable since its located in Vietnam and seems to have a sizeable amount of Indian tourists) only real complaint was the lifts and how it was managed by the maids in the mornings, there are only 2 lifts in the hotel and roughly 10 rooms per floor and 6-7 floors with rooms. We easily spend 30-45 min waiting for lifts to get to breakfast and lobby during the two days, maids was bringing sheets and towels up to all the different floors during the busiest time of the day and literally occupied them on their own, the record was 4 consecutive lifts passing by that was impossible to get into since they had 1 maid and a large number of packages inside (maybe getting one maid in at 6 am to distribute all the laundry when the lifts are not normally used by guests would be a good idea!). Please don't misunderstand this rant the hotel is nice and I recommend it and will use again if back in HCM however I really wish this could be sorted since there are easy solutions available....

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast spread was impressive, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommend!

Booking was cancelled. Trip.com said the hotel did it. The hotel blamed Trip.com Then when I pushed the hotel they said it was a third party agent they use. The hotel didn't seem to want to help. Trip.com sorted it out. However, it was no coincidence that the same room rate had now tripled within a day. Staff otherwise were good. Breakfast was good. Room was average and not worth the price. Says executive but there are no executive amenities. Not even a place to use your laptop. Has to go yo the coffee shop across the road. Tried using the restaurant when it wasn't lunch time but the AC got switched off. Pool seemed like an afterthought and shoved on the roof as there was nowhere else to put one. Obviously there were problems with water leaking as the evidence could be seen on the restaurant ceiling underneath it. Also the wooden floor in the restaurant had a lot of damage. The room itself was a decent size but obviously past problems were patched together hap hazardly in an attempt to fix things. The bath which was also used for the shower had a botched repair to a big hole in it. Should have replaced the bath. Thick silicone was used to fill gaps and looked awful. Shower door was not staying in place and just sliding open. It also let water leak out which ran across the bathroom soaking anything on the floor. The sink didn't drain properly either. Stayed in equivalent or better places for less money.

The hotel was nice and the staff were great. Friendly and very helpful. The pool is very shallow which was the only thing that did not exceed my expectations. It’s good to cool off but that it. I would stay there again

This is a very lovey hotel in District 1. The room was spacious and big. The site said the room was on the 7th floor. But we got a 4th floor room. Breakfast was amazing and even have tea time which is wonderful. It in walking distance to a lot of stuff which is a plus. Didn't go in the pool but had a great view and rood top bar was nice. Totally recommend this place.
