Coucou Homestead - I recensioner

The room was clean / cute and cozy but there is no lift tho so we need to climb up by ourselves when we came back from walking streets

Good location, a bit away from all the madness of the foreigner street. Can get a bit loud when many people are staying. Sometimes, you need to wait for a long while to go to the toilet. But the room was nice and comfortable, clean and had a pleasant smell. The AC worked perfectly and having a small sink in the room was very convenient. You can get drinking water at the reception for free. Recommended for travellers on a budget.

As it mentions in title as homestead, it is quite literally an old house made into a hostel. The service is minimal to non-existent and the bathroom is one floor down. The upper bunk I was given on first floor has no ledge so if you are a rough sleeper, you can fall down. There was a party of sort happening while I was there since there are no staff at night and the man in my dorm came up to the room and headed to the balcony to pee. It was quite an experience staying there for 3 nights. The location is good though so if you can handle hostels, this is a very average hostel.

Only 2 toilets/showers so if somebody is using the shower you can not go to the tiolet

You get what you pay for, by no means was this homestay a bad experience. 2 bathrooms up and downstairs and it seems only the upstairs one had hot water. Staff were friendly and of no bother to us guests. I would recommend 2 nights maximum stay is best here

staffs are really really nice and it is indeed quite peaceful! I had friends during my stay and so cute to hear stories of their adventures too

Had a good stay with this hostel, good and clean rooms, good breakfast, free water and WiFi. Worth the price I paid🫶🏻

The location is very accessible and there's a lot of historical landmark near by.

I recently stayed at CouCou Homestead I, located at 121/35 Đ. Lê Thị Riêng, Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the night walking street, just a short walk away. It’s incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore the local nightlife. The place itself felt like home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect retreat after a busy day. The highlight for me was the breakfast. It was delicious and really set a positive tone for the day. Overall, CouCou Homestead I provided a great blend of comfort and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Good location very near just walk about 10 mins to bus terminal going to airport.

We are a family with 1 small baby. The rooms here are comfortably furnished and very clean. Location right in the center of District 1, not on the main road but the alley is very wide, cars park right up to the door. The whole house has an elevator. What I love most here is the very quiet space and super comfortable bed. You can rest assured that you will have a good night's sleep here. We will stay again if we come to Saigon

Worst place to have a goodnight sleep

ว we stay for three nights four days they never come clean the room. even downstairs they have dead cockroach. 

The breakfast consists of 1 raw egg that you have to cook yourself and 2 pieces of bread and a drink.
